Avirl Lavigne (ave-err-al . la-veen)! Do you like her? Have you ever heard of her? She an awesome new singer with a rockish/punkish/poppish type sound to her music. Oh,I heard that song "Complicated" today. Man,I like her so much. She seems like a good role model. I LOVE the way she dresses!!! She's got a great singing talent too. She's awsome. 8)

I used to absolutly hate her song 'Complicated' but I recently started to like it. I'm not too crazy about her style of music but some of her songs are good.

i really like her. as everyone else, i like the song "complicated". she's cute, and i love her style. if you guys haven't already heard it, i suggest checking out "i'm with you". its pretty good.

My friend got her CD a few days ago and it's AMAZING! She's so refreshing after years of either one type of music or another there's someone who's actually a mixture! I absolutely love the song "I'm With You" and the song "Skater Boy" is a lot of fun to listen to! I seriously suggest this CD!

Avril Lavinge's COMPLICATED... that's a cool song.

I like her music a lot. She has a really pretty voice, and her songs are very catchy. I don't have her album or anything, but maybe I'll download some of her songs.
BTW, did anyone else notice that a lot of the new female singers (Avril Lavigne, P!nk, Michelle Branch, etc.) happen to actually have talent? I mean, nowadays, there are so many singers/bands out there that can't sing or play an instrument worth crap, but for some reason they manage to make it to the top of the charts. It's nice to know that there are still some great musicians today that actually become successful because of their talent and not their image. A lot of them write their own music too, and while I don't think that writing your own music necessarily equals talent, it's an added bonus in this case because their music is actually decent.

Haha, I agree. I saw her on Jay Leno, and I was like, "what the hell is she wearing?" But hey, it's her style, and how she dresses doesn't affect her singing ability at all.

I can name some too. . But I know what you mean. They can't sing or play intruments (and if they can they don't) And the only way they top the charts is for their image and exotic dancing  . Hello?! There's much more than a pretty face!! ~*Also,does Pink actually write her own songs??*~ Because I was reading this magazine and she said 'I wrote this song because I felt..blah blah blah" Then I look beside the song lyrics and it's written by someone totally different and I'm like wtf?! But Avril is awsome...Like I said. I keep forgetting to download her sh!t but I will. Finally there's someone different!!! P!nk writes some of her own songs. I have her first album, and she wrote about half of the songs on that, I think. Some of them she co-wrote, though. I think she tends to write lyrics rather than the actual music. But that's alright. She's a really good singer, and I like her music.

but avril is a pop singer, i mean the only reason anyone thinks any diffrent is because of the way she dresses. yes her dress alternative, and yes i like it, but when you listen to her its just like listening to britney spears..or mandy morre, in fact she reminds me a lot of mandy, i think its the voice. her vocals are pretty weak as well, but hey, whatever floats your boat right.
