Faith, Fate, Love, And Destiny, Continued.
Hi Labeautiful, and thank you. Good questions too!
First, nature is how things are. I think of the Earth's environment. God created nature, nature is not a personal being like God is. God pretty much determines how things will work, He knows how many hairs are on your head, and He will see to it that even birds are fed. So He cares more for us. God has ordained us to love, but love is not a god. God created the universe, but the universe is not God, it is not a personal living entitiy like God is. In other words, I just made a vase on the potter's wheel, but that vase is not me.
God is not our fate so much as what we choose to do with the knowledge He gives us. You can take everything you know about God, throw it out and live anyway you want. You may actually do very well in life, but at what cost to your eternal spirit? God can direct our steps, if we let Him, but He will not force Himself on anyone. God is a personal being, He want us to fellowship with Him, and He desires to fellowship with us.
Now, that's not to say EVERYthing that happens to us is because of God, or even Satan. Some things just happen. Finding a couch leg at night with your bare toes, you rip a peice of clothing, storms, your car craps out on you, your computer crashes, your phone shorts out, a shoelace breaks, all that is stuff we have to put up with. That's just life, there's nothing spiritual about it.
God is not fate. He is a personal being and we can disobey Him or not. And if we disobey Him, consquenses may or may not be apparent. Think of it this way. We can smoke, drink, do drugs, have unprotected sex, all that good clean living. We can do it for years and life will be a good time. But, eventually, years later, you go to the doctor because you're sick. After the tests, you have this disease, your liver is shot because you drank too much, you have STD's, and your brain is toasted. All this from "having fun." That not fate, that's the result of bad choices we make, what's worse is when we know what will happen, and do it anyway.
Fate and Destiny sound like things we cannot control, that we are at the "mercy" of unseen forces. Wrong. We can study hard in school, do the work, get a job, and hopefully direct a successful course of our lives. We can make choices to stay healthy, or choices to make us sick. We can reduce our chances of dying in accidents, or fiddle with the CD player at 70 miles per hour, and not buckle our seatbelts.
We can walk against traffic and hope someone doesn't smack into us, or we can wait until the lights change and walk safely across the street. We can get drunk and hop into the car, hoping we don't get stopped by the police, or we can forget the alcohol, drink a Coke, and not worry about tickets, trials, jail time and fines.

Is He Politely Blowing Me Off?
Hi AFChicka
If he thinks you're pretty, why do you think he wants you to get away from him?
The reason he doesn't think you're "his type" is because he doesn't think he has anything in common with you. He percieves you to be someone he'd like to know better, but doesn't think he'd be the right person for you. In other words, he might think that you and him, are so different, that you wouldn't have anything in common with each other. He'd like to get to know you better, but isn't sure how to go about it.
