<<what is the council anyway? I just love seeing a bunch of smilies smushed together.>> There's the Jedi Council, those guys that hang out in that round room in that tower near the Senate Arena. <<I just learned that Padme is Sanskrit and Dooku is Japanese, but I'm sure you already know that.>> Actually I didn't but I can see it. So you're one up on me! There's Sabe', and Rabe', those were Amidala's other handmaidens. There's a third and forth I think, but can't remember their names. Remember Duel of the Fates? When Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon Jinn and Darth Maul were fighting in TPM? Here are the lyrics: Duel of the Fates and funeral scene lyrics Duel of the FatesFrom TPM Korah Matah Korah Rahtahmah Korah Rahtamah Yoodhah Korah Korah Syahdho Rahtahmah Daanyah Korah Keelah Daanyah Nyohah Keelah Korah Rahtahmah Syadho Keelah Korah Rahtahmah Korah Daanyah Korah Rahtahmah Korah Daanyah Korah Rahtahmah Nyohah Keelah Korah Rahtahmah Syadho Keelah Korah Rahtahmah Korah Korah Matah Korah Rahtahmah Korah Daanyah Korah Rahtahmah Nyohah Keelah Korah Rahtahmah Syadho Keelah Korah Rahtahmah Korah Version 2 (closer to the original Sanskrit): Khara Matha Khara Rath Amah Khara Rath Amah Yuddha Khara Khara Syada Rath Amah Dai Ya Khara Ki La Dan Ya Niha Ki La Khara Rath Amah Syada Ki La Khara Rath Amah Khara Dan Ya Khara Rath Amah Khara Dan Ya Khara Rath Amah Niha Ki La Khara Rath Amah Syada Ki La Khara Rath Amah Khara Khara Matha Khara Rath Amah Khara Dan Ya Khara Rath Amah Niha Ki La Khara Rath Amah Syada Ki La Khara Rath Amah Khara Khara = dreadful Matha = head Rath = speak Amah = give Yuddha = battle Syada = raging Dai = purify Ya = going Ki = like La = taking Dan = separate Niha = loss John Williams used just one line -literally transcribed into Sanskrit- from Robert Graves' translation of the Celtic Poem "Cad Goddeu" ("The Battle of the Trees"): Under the tongue root a fight most dread, and another raging, behind, in the head. <<Actually I didn't but I can see it. So you're one up on me!>> hehe I highly suggest you check this site out--> www.thenextamidala.com, excellent site. They have all these theories about Episode III but they focus mainly on Amidala and her future. Check out the Fan Art Section and The Facade page of AOTC. Superb. I'm addicted.
<<There's Sabe', and Rabe', those were Amidala's other handmaidens. There's a third and forth I think, but can't remember their names.>> Yes, I was wondering why all their names ended like that. Like Dane', etc.
<<Remember Duel of the Fates? When Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon Jinn and Darth Maul were fighting in TPM?>> Oh! So that Duel of the Fates? I love that song! I think I'll download it, only if Audiogalaxy wasn't gone. is all that song in Sanskrit? I though it sounded amazing.

Cool new name!
I checked out that link, interesting site. I liked the site, the fan art makes me jealous. I have to learn how to airbrush someday.
Yes those are Sanskrit lyrics. John Williams liked the way they sounded and felt they would go well with the music he wanted. No surprise he's been doing movie music for 35+ years.

<<Cool new name!>> Thanks! ;D
<<I checked out that link, interesting site. I liked the site, the fan art makes me jealous. I have to learn how to airbrush someday.>> I know, the artwork is incredible, I especially love the watercolour drawings. Some of the gowns drawn are not included in the film but still, it's beautiful. <<Yes those are Sanskrit lyrics. John Williams liked the way they sounded and felt they would go well with the music he wanted.>> I like the way they sounded too. Very foreignly formal. <<No surprise he's been doing movie music for 35+ years.>> I can tell, does he do music mainly for Star Wars or other films as well?

Watercolor! Even better. I like rich colors with it.
John Williams has done all the music for Star Wars. But he also did the music for other movies and TV. He's done, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Lost In Space for TV, a version of Heidi, Poseidon Adventure, The Towering Inferno, the score for Fiddler on the Roof, movie version, Midway, The Cowboys, 1941, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and ET to name a very, very few. Anytime you see a shark coming in TV shows and commercials and there's that heavy cello, string-like sound, that's from John Williams and his music for Jaws.
You should get the Jaws soundtrack. It's very scary sounding music, but it also has music that really makes you feel like you're on one of those big Tall Ships with the sails and you're doing about 30 miles per hour plowing through waves. Whoo Hoo! Or get the best of John Williams. It has March from Midway, and March from 1941. He also leads the Boston Pops.

<<Watercolor! Even better. I like rich colors with it.>> yes, rich colour, watercolour. Both are excellent. Imagine Padme in watercolour, she looks beautiful.

I stray far from horror films. I saw Jaws before and it gave me the creeps. I don't need musical reminders. ;D Hopefully I'll go see Episode II this weekend and my friend better not escape me or I'll get very angry. ;D

<<Hmm, I think you're missing out. John Williams can make a harp sound sinister.>> the harp is a beautiful instrument!!!
<<So did'ja see it, huh, huh? Did'ja see it? (Jumps up and down)>> yes, I actually saw it, not in theatres but on my computer but I'm definitely going to the theatre. I missed the showing in a nearby theatre but hopefully I'm going downtown to see it. The scenes of Coruscant would look amazing on the big screen. Btw, I love the beginning when Obi and Ani are riding up the elevator and Binks comes along and he's like "Obi? OBIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!! *something something something*" that was adorable. And also, the chancellor--is he evil? Is he that Palpatine? I mean when Binks was required to fill the duties of the senator, he's like "and I give all emergency powers to the supreme chancellor". hmmm... and what's a bounty hunter??
Perhaps I should link to some fruit used in the movie. And I liked the cheesy romantic parts! ;D Did I mention I saw Vader in British Vogue? Well, not really, it was Vader but in 1977 Vogue edition or something standing besides two models wearing fur coats. Oh, I believe it was Givenchy and someone else.

Sorry but watching it on a dinky computer screen ain't gonna cut it. You have to see it on the big screen and the big sound system. "Eh, Star Wars must be, eh, how you say, experienced, no? Especially the chase through the city on Coruscant and the final battle, and the chase through the asteroid belt.
<<The scenes of Coruscant would look amazing on the big screen.>>
Yes, yes, yes!
"Obi, oh, muy muy I love you!" <==Something like that?
<<the chancellor--is he evil? Is he that Palpatine?
No, the Chancellor Velorum is just weak, but not evil. He is not Palpatine. That would be Senator Palpatine, who is also Darth Sidious, who will be Emperor Palpatine.
<<I mean when Binks was required to fill the duties of the senator, he's like "and I give all emergency powers to the supreme chancellor". hmmm... >>
What that did was make Jar Jar the fall-guy. In other words, when the Republic falls, it will sort be Jar Jar's fault and Palpatine will make it happen and blame it on Jar Jar, that's what I see happening anyway.
<<what's a bounty hunter??>>
A bounty hunter is someone who looks for and captures criminals and gets paid a large sum for it. In this case, Jengo-Fett is a bounty hunter and later on, his son, Boba-Fett, will be a bounty hunter also. He's the one that gave Han Solo (Harrison Ford) frozen in Carbonite, over to Jabba the Hutt.
<<Perhaps I should link to some fruit used in the movie.>>
I think that one scene where Padme' and Anakin are together in that room eating, that looks like a pear.
<< And I liked the cheesy romantic parts!>>
Heh, a box of Ritz for you!
<<Did I mention I saw Vader in British Vogue? Well, not really, it was Vader but in 1977 Vogue edition or something standing besides two models wearing fur coats. Oh, I believe it was Givenchy and someone else.>>
Was that Darth Vader, or David Prowse who played him?

Ok I have to see it!!! <<"Obi, oh, muy muy I love you!">> yes and then he goes "Senator Padme! Lookie lookie...." his language is so difficult to decipher. <<No, the Chancellor Velorum is just weak, but not evil. He is not Palpatine. That would be Senator Palpatine, who is also Darth Sidious, who will be Emperor Palpatine.>> oh, is he the guy who told Padme to be protected by Obi? How is he weak? I thought he was the same guy who was in that big...assembly place <<What that did was make Jar Jar the fall-guy. In other words, when the Republic falls, it will sort be Jar Jar's fault and Palpatine will make it happen and blame it on Jar Jar, that's what I see happening anyway.>> poor Jar Jar. I thought that was the Chancellor Velorum. I'm confused now. Is he that old guy who was in the place with Padme and Queen Jamillia and mistakened Ani for a Master Jedi? <<A bounty hunter is someone who looks for and captures criminals and gets paid a large sum for it. In this case, Jengo-Fett is a bounty hunter and later on, his son, Boba-Fett, will be a bounty hunter also. He's the one that gave Han Solo (Harrison Ford) frozen in Carbonite, over to Jabba the Hutt.>> I'm sorry, I've never seen The Empire Strikes Back. I only saw most of A New Hope and the very last part of The Return of the Jedi in French...dubbed, no subtitles. In French!!! Is Boba that little boy? And doesn't his father get killed at the end of the movie?? And why did that tall 7" prime minister of Kamino say that he asked for an exact copy of a clone? Wait...you know how they were talking and the Kaminoan said that a clone army was made for the Master...I forgot the name and Obi's like he got killed 10 years ago. Was that Qu'Gonn?? (excuse spelling) <<I think that one scene where Padme' and Anakin are together in that room eating, that looks like a pear.>> no, there's a picture of a bowl of fruit used in the movie on the site I gave you. But I love love love the music used in the pear scene. <<Heh, a box of Ritz for you!>> ;D Cheese Nips <<Was that Darth Vader, or David Prowse who played him?>> Nope, just Darth Vader...no actor...just Vader, with two models that is. Btw, did you see the Santa Claus Vader smiley? and the reindeer Darth Maul smiley and the Sidious smiley with a Santa hood? Did you?!

<<Ok I have to see it!!!>> See it! See it! See it! <<oh, is he the guy who told Padme to be protected by Obi? How is he weak? I thought he was the same guy who was in that big...assembly place>> I think so, I'll have to see the movie again--or three or four more times. He;s weak because he seems ready to give up at a moment's notice. <<poor Jar Jar. I thought that was the Chancellor Velorum. I'm confused now. Is he that old guy who was in the place with Padme and Queen Jamillia and mistakened Ani for a Master Jedi?>> Yes, he's the old bearded guy who served on Amidala's now Jamilla's council, he's always ready to give up. <,Is Boba that little boy? >> Yes, that's how he starts out. He's a clone of his dad. <<And doesn't his father get killed at the end of the movie??>> Yep, loses his head in the heat of batte. << And why did that tall 7" prime minister of Kamino say that he asked for an exact copy of a clone? >> To let us know what's going on. Jengo Fett wanted a clone of himself, but didn't want it altared in any way. <<Wait...you know how they were talking and the Kaminoan said that a clone army was made for the Master...I forgot the name and Obi's like he got killed 10 years ago. Was that Qu'Gonn?? >> No, it was some Senator. <<I think that one scene where Padme' and Anakin are together in that room eating, that looks like a pear.>> no, there's a picture of a bowl of fruit used in the movie on the site I gave you. But I love love love the music used in the pear scene. Looks like a green apple. << Btw, did you see the Santa Claus Vader smiley? and the reindeer Darth Maul smiley and the Sidious smiley with a Santa hood? Did you?!>> I saw it, I did. It's in the Icons thread somewhere around here.

^^^ hey! I saw that one on someone's LJ. hehe
Anyways, I just saw Star Wars at the theatres two days ago. It's was a thousand times better, and besides the asteroid scene gave me a jump. I wish I could see the Coruscant (sp?) chase scene again. That was amazing. Ok, bye.

Hey Sassyfun that round guy is Yoda kicking Jedi butt with Count Dooku, right?
<<Anyways, I just saw Star Wars at the theatres two days ago. It's was a thousand times better, >>
Yes, Yes, Yes! Always is. So you liked it I see. Natalie Portman looks great right?
<<besides the asteroid scene gave me a jump.>>
Weren't those Sonic Charges cool? I liked the silence when they detonated then that blue blast wave slicing through the asteroids. I also like the Slave 1 (Jengo and Boba Fett's ship) being put through it's paces. Wasn't Obi-Wan's ship cool? The way the module detaches from the main engine ring.
<<I wish I could see the Coruscant (sp?) chase scene again. That was amazing. Ok, bye.>>
Go see it again! I liked the way that chase started when Obi-Wan jumped out the window and grabbed onto that flying droid. The lines were funny.
"What took you so long?" "I had to find one I liked."
"We're here to save you." "Good job."
"I have to save Padme'." "I think she's on top of it."
What did you think of the arena scene, and the big battle? Padme' fights good, eh? That's why I think she has the Force too. And of course, Yoda dueling with Count Dooku.
