*bows down to ever-so-knowledgable Toxic* Gawsh! Where do you store all that information? I think you've accomplished what some people have been trying to do for ages... make me interested in Star Wars. I'm clueless about the whole may-the-force-be-with-you thing though. I wouldn't know where to start. From my brother's Star Wars phase, I can remember R2D2 and C3PO. They were cute. Haha, I remember doing the whole light saber act with my bro when we were kids. 8) And that's as far as my Star Wars knowledge stretches.

^^^I remember using a poster as a light saber once when I was at my friends house and my friend had a Darth Maul saber and we were just hitting around until the poster ripped. I think my other friend was mad at me. ;D
<<I haven't heard that song. Is it an instrumental, and part of the AOTC soundtrack? Or is it a vocal? Right now from your description, it tells a sense of forboding, Death maybe of Padme'. Or Anakin being severely wounded, or both. >> It's all instrumental, at the beginning, I can hear the harp, it's incredibly beautiful. I'm guessing the really loud, shocking sound is Padme's death. When I first heard it, I thought Anakin maybe had killed Padme by accident and he was all in grief and joined the dark side. That was my first impression. <<And that's the genius of John Williams. I don't think Star Wars would be half as good without the music since it's so integral to the films. He just sets the right moods and the subtle clues to what's going on or what will happen. In the EP I soundtrack, you hear Anakin' theme. It's starts all airy and happy and ends with a few bars of the Imperial Storm Trooper March. In AOTC the movie ends with Duel of the Fates and the Imperial Storm Trooper March.>> I totally agree. Like all the other films have "borrowed" music from pop. artists and Star Wars has like "custom-made music" and it's not like from those pop singers you hear on MTV, thank God. Btw, I've never heard the Imperial Battle, what is it?

Knowledge I have, yes? Mmmm. <<Gawsh! Where do you store all that information? >>
That hard disk inside my h-hea-head. <<I think you've accomplished what some people have been trying to do for ages... make me interested in Star Wars. I'm clueless about the whole may-the-force-be-with-you thing though. I wouldn't know where to start. >>
I'm glad to have helped. The Force is, disappointingly, a symbiont life form that lives inside its host. They're cranked up bacteria or something. This life form called "Midiclorians" are what gives a Jedi Knight his or her abilities. Posted by: Labeautiful ^^^I remember using a poster as a light saber once >>
Did'ja make the sounds? MMMMmmmm, mmmMMMmmm, MMmmmMMmmMMMMmm. I've probably heard that song then in the AOTC soundtrack, but I'll have to listen for it more closely.
<<I thought Anakin maybe had killed Padme by accident and he was all in grief and joined the dark side. That was my first impression. >>
Which is what I think will happen in EP-III. Good job! <<I've never heard the Imperial Battle, what is it? >>
I'm not sure how to do this on a message board. ;D You've heard it before and you'll know it when you hear it. It has kind of a military big brass sound. Oh by the way, you said you were going to see AOTC this week. That was last week and today is this week which is next week. So whadd'ya waitin' for?

<<Did'ja make the sounds? MMMMmmmm, mmmMMMmmm, MMmmmMMmmMMMMmm.>> No, but my friend who was supposedly "Darth Maul", she's like "prepare to die..." but in a jokingly way of course. ;D <<I've probably heard that song then in the AOTC soundtrack, but I'll have to listen for it more closely.>> Good, listen to it. It's pure genius, the music. <<Which is what I think will happen in EP-III.>> That's cool. It's probably evident, I think Anakin is kinda odd but really in love with Padme <<Good job!>> haha, Obi-Wan quote!!! ;D <<You've heard it before and you'll know it when you hear it. It has kind of a military big brass sound.>> I'll definitely have to hear it. <<Oh by the way, you said you were going to see AOTC this week. That was last week and today is this week which is next week. So whadd'ya waitin' for?>> give me a break! I'm having finals but I'm definitely going. *Definitely* after I do some cosmetic shopping Oh did you know someone is auctioning off a replica of Padme's pastel dress? I *sooooooooooo* want!!!!!! but I'm afraid if it won't fit me and my mom's probably gonna complain. I want it!!!!!!!!!!!

<<Why don't you try making it.>> That's a great idea! Only if I was an expert in clothing. I would learn if my teacher doesn't yell so much. And where would I get the fabric? Is it like satin? It's very pretty, then perhaps I could finally dye it rainbow. Oh btw, I downloaded a billion Attack of the Clones trailers and in Forbidden Love, I remember seeing this little cute robot thingy when they were in Tattoine, I believe, and it pulled their like thingy. ;D and in the background, there was a similar 'bot. So, I really wanna know what that is because they're adorable!

The fabric is probably silk, satin, or maybe crepe-de-chine or Duchess satin. <little cute robot thingy . . . So, I really wanna know what that is because they're adorable!>> Pit droids, remember them in TPM? The one's servicing the pod racers and that one that got sucked into the engine intake of that one pod and blew the engine out, but he just shook his head and life went on. I'm not sure what they're called in AOTC but their main purpose is to do all the heavy work, they're sort of like slaves or drones.

<<You're not?>> Apparently not. I happen to lose patience making clothes <<Whaaa cool, tie die, man! The Grateful Dead is a classic '70's band. Much like ZZ-Top whom I'm listening to on the radio.
It's not cruel for machines and robots to do heavy work, unless they are going to be programmed to hate it. See-Threepio liked being a protocol droid, "I am a Protocol Droid. I am fluent in over six million languages."
"The Force is with you young Skywalker. But you are not a Jedi yet."

Guess what? Someone found a site that makes costume gowns. And one of them was the Amidala gown and I found the pastel gown! You can make orders to the site and order the gown but it's quite expensive (like $875) and the most expensive gown was the picnic gown (it was my favourite too ) But it said that the fabric used was silk chiffon or "rainbow silk" or ponge silk. But it's very expensive (the fabric). Hmmm...I'll find a way to make that pastel gown. The picnic gown was made of embroidered brocade which the site stated "was the most difficult to make", besides the pastel gown. Well, I'd just like to share this report since someone else found it. ;D *thinks* Darn it!

But isn't there an alternative fabric that's not so expensive?
I saw two cool books I want, Incredible Cross Sections. it shows the vehicles in AOTC and the inner workings of the ships and engines. Love the detail. I also want The Art Of Star Wars, AOTC.
Labeautiful, it shows the different dress designs sketched out before the costume designers decided what they wanted. I like the ships of course, my favorite is Obi-Wan Kenobi's ring shaped ship. And I love the big bluish soldier transport. The pre-models of the Imperial Star Destroyers.

<<But isn't there an alternative fabric that's not so expensive?>> I'm afraid rainbow silk or ponge silk comes closest to the gown. Brocades are also expensive. They also had orders from Episode I, including my favourite--parade gown.
<<I saw two cool books I want, Incredible Cross Sections. it shows the vehicles in AOTC and the inner workings of the ships and engines. Love the detail. I also want The Art Of Star Wars, AOTC.>> Hmmm...at the school library once, I saw them displaying an AOTC book--like a encyclopedia. I was very interested but I had to go somewhere.
<<Labeautiful, it shows the different dress designs sketched out before the costume designers decided what they wanted. I like the ships of course, my favorite is Obi-Wan Kenobi's ring shaped ship. And I love the big bluish soldier transport. The pre-models of the Imperial Star Destroyers.>> oh! that's interesting! I'll have to check it out!!! ;D Oh btw, I saw the list of international opening dates. Why do some countries open so late? I mean...July?

Some of the release dates are late because the countries they are showing, have to be translated into the language from English. I'm sure some of the terminology might not work in some languages, or may mean something else than intended. Which can be interesting or embarrassing.

Hmm, I think the subtitles would be alot of extra work typing all that in. Not a job I'd want. Good summation of the Council, "Me'sa thinks thassa grand amount." You got it! Amidala, Senator Palpatine / Darth Sidious, later Emperor Palpatine, and that would be the Death Star.
