There's a thread like this at Razz. I've read through it and I thought it might be a good idea to start one up here.
This is so that Christians can ask one another for prayer and ask one another questions about issues on Christianity that they are unsure about. It can be a place where we support one another and make each other aware of what's happening in our church, schools, and with friends. I want this to be a great environment and learning experience! =)
This thread is for everyone - in particular Christians - so can non-Christians who come here be respectful of whats being discussed? Thanks!

ToughPrincess: Just one thing: don't put full names in your posts, it could be dangerous. We are generally among friends here, but you never know who else could be here, and we don't want anything bad to happen, so just be careful. Carry on with the discussion now.

Would you please pray for my friend... She has recently broken up with her boyfriend of 3 years and is also going through some other deeper troubles. Please pray that everything will get better for her and she will learn to live happily.

O.K., sorry about that... You're gonna have to look over my foolish newbie ways... hehehehe. ^^^^^^^^^ Yeah, I'll pray for your friend. I've been thru simialar thing. It hurts. I give her sympathy. (Is this the friend that has the boyfriend who has cancer here on Former-Razz? You know, the one who posted on The advice girls and guys here?) Anyways, I'll pray for her. Thank you all for praying for Casey, it's really sweet and I appreciate that.

I will definately pray for Casey and Nikki's friend. Also...I just got into a relationship with a guy whom I really like. Some people(such as his sister)objects to it and refuses to let him do anything with me - but, of course, he does anyways. I would like you guys to pray to God and ask him to lay it upon their hearts to see that we are true and we really like each other. To help us through this relationship, basically... Thank-you.
Also, I'm so glad to see people are posting at this Thread! =) If you guys want to add anything(such as verses, stories, articles, what your church/sunday school/youth group was about, experiences)you can! I'd love to see this thread grow!

^^Yeah, I realize that. I hope you don't mind that I set it up here. I just really liked the one you started back at Razz and I thought it would be a great idea to start one here.

Hello everyone!!!! I was raised a catholic christian, because living in Italy it is the biggest religion here. (hey, we got the pope!!!)
I never felt at ease... I modified the belief system to fit myself and found I didn't like the Church istitution, not the believes. (i dunno if you get what I mean).
I am also very fond of the wiccan belief system.... I am getting more info and leaning towards it more and more.
Now my sister has confirmation and wants me to be her Goddes mother. I would love to, but.... I don't know, can I? I think it is not important what one believes, but how one lives and how much you love the person. Do you know what I can do...
write me please

^I'm sorry, I'm not sure what a Goddess mother is. Maybe someone else who stumbles upon this thread could tell you. I'll try to find out, though.
Anyways, I just got back from Church and my Pastor's sermon was very interesting. It was about love. I took some sermon notes...and I'll try to explain what it was about..
1 Corinthians 13:2-8 God's Love.. Love is more important than(written by Paul):
*Spiritual Gifts. *Knowledge. *Faith. *Generosity. *Accomplishments.
Love is not an emotion. Love is an action. It's something you feel/say/do.
Love never fails. 'If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.' 1 Corinthians 13:2
That's just an outline of it. Although it was very interesting, I didn't take very good notes. Argh. I'll take better ones next time.
