In the past few months I've read the Dream trilogy by Nora Roberts, and A Painted House by John Grisham. Thats all...

For Fun: Many Waters by the same author as A Wrinkle In Time If you liked that book this one is about Meg's Brothers, Not Charles Wallace, but the other ones.
For School The Autobiography Of Benjamin Franklin For my English I class, ya this wouldn't be somthing I would choose for "fun"

Just finished reading Girl With A Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier. It was for school, but I actually liked it. I don't usually enjoy "required reading" for class.

I'm currently reading Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler; partially out of curiousity, largely out of interest at just what made this man tick. I've always been intrigued by the history behind WWII, especially the Third Reich and Hitler's rise to power. But RAMBLINGS of a madman indeed. In short, this book is confusing. It's hard to follow, full of winding sentences and frequent digression from the subject. There's no mistake that this is the authorship of a self-educated man. Still, I'll struggle my way through it if I can help it. It's facinating reading, really, but (if I may steal a phrase) it's an editor's nightmare!

Mein Kampf ... mmm, I've always wanted to read that. I'll have to get ahold of a copy of it. Too bad my high school library won't carry it. From the way you described it, the title ( My Battle) fits. Right now I am on the fourth book of The New Jedi Order series. I know the series has already ended, but I suddenly have a passion for Star Wars for some reason. I read the first book a while back and then over Christmas break I picked up the two Dark Tide books and finished those. Now I am on Agents of Chaos I. They're pretty good so far. The second Dark Tide was really good. Please don't spoil it for me my telling me what happens, I've already heard that Anakin dies ... It's bad enough Chewbacca is already dead and Corran is leaving the Jedi Order. Yeah, but for school I am reading Hamlet for my British Lit class. I hate reading Shakespeare. The tragedies are just so boring because they are all so much alike. Basically in Shakespeare's tragedies, everyone dies ... Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth were enough. I have to read the first two scenes by Monday and I have yet to open the book.

Well, since you have already read it once ... don't read it this time. Shoot, this time you should pass the tests with little difficulty.

Tests? Oh, we're not having a test on it. At least, not that I know of.
We're going to have to do an essay, and stuff, and I can't really do that without re-reading it.

War and Peace, along with about 20 critical analyses of it.
But when THAT's done, I really want to read The Namesake, by Jhumpa Lahiri.

Currently I'm reading 'Eragon' by Christopher Paolini and 'The Ruins of Ambrai' by Melanie Rawn. So far both are turning out pretty decently.
