Dancing

Anyone else do it? I take Jazz and I love it! I'm hoping to take ballet next year, but I'm happy with just Jazz for now.

I take streetdance classes and I love it! ;D It's great! I also have a very nice teacher, which actually was a surprise to me at first because all my dancing teachers have always been sort of weird.

I love dancing! I'm in my second year of Jazz dance right now and I LOVE IT! I took tap dancing for like 4 years too. Oh yeah, I took ballet when I was 5   Hehe...

Yeah, I love dancing. I'm hoping to take either ballet, ballroom, belly dancing or any Spanish dances (especially the flamenco)

i've taken dance for 9 years. i took ballet and lyrical for around 4 years. i dont take those anymore. i remember when i was 8 i took tapp and i didnt like it at all. jazz is my thing. i took it off and on for awhile until i decided to stick with it. i have been taking it for probably around 5 or 6 years. it really rocks! i love the way you can add in some street dance and hiphop and it still looks like jazz. in jazz you can get really creative with how you dance. this year in jazz my class is dancing to rythym of the night from the moulin rouge soundtrack. its pretty cool. there's this one part where we really get into it and do some pretty amazing moves. there's no way to describe them. they are just awesome!

What's lyrical? And does anyone have any recommendations on what type of dancing I could do besides streetdance (which is the same as hip hop, I think)?

lyrical is a mixture of jazz and ballet. lyrical looks like ballet with a funky twist. maybe you could try salsa. i've heard that's fun. or, one of the really popular ones at my dance school, JAZZ. sorry its just really fun. but its sorta already like streetdance. hmm... i cant think of anything else right now. i hope i helped!

I'm taking ballet, jazz, and hip-hop. I'm going to get a video for belly dancing. And I definly have to take a flamenco class. Too many dances, too little time.

I would love to try to take a dance class...but I don't know if we have any of that around here.  And I don't know if I'd want to go by myself..

I took dance when I was little for like 4 years.  I was really good too. Not to brag, but I was.  I quit, I don't know why. I wish I wouldn't have, and like .spastic.fruit. I wish I could take classes now, but I would be like in the beginner classes and all my friends would be teaching me! I would feel really stupid!

I am a dancer, and have been for 10 years.  I just started taking tap and hip hop jazz this year, and I don't really like them as much, because I'm not as good at them.  But I still like it.

They're having this Flamenco Festival (started yesterday) that I really want to go to. Latey I've just fallen in love with that dance. I want to see Maria Pages.
