yes... I neeeed hair advice! I don't want anything too fancy. Just like a normal everyday style type thing. I'm confined to just throwing my hair up into a pony tail or leaving it down because that's all that it will do. It is just past shoulder length and dark brown and fairly thick. Anyways, do you have any suggestions at a simple and not too shocking hair styles to do? Nikki

Well, you could always put your hair half up/half down. ;D Um, how about low pigtails - they always look cute. Cornrows are cool also.

I don't think there are any ways to make it grow faster. Just make sure to keep it clean and healthy. Dirty hair could delay the growing out process.

^I bet cornrows or some kind of french braid would look awesome in your curly hair! How long is it?

QTPie, if I were you I would try using curling gels and stuff and leave it au natural LoL. I mean that always looks pretty, espcially if your hair is long. Or you could always try what Keri Russell on Felicity did and chop your locks short. ^^ I also agree that french braids or cornrows might look pretty.

I know heaps of girls with thick curly hair, i think most of them just use a lot of mousse or gel, it looks pretty good, but feels rock hard :s... well just a suggestion anyway

hey, this isn't really a *hair emergency*, but i thought it would be the best place to ask this. my brother is trying to dye his hair blue. the only problem is that it just won't turn blue. i know that blue is one of the hardest colors to dye your hair. on top of that, my brother has thick, dark dark brown (almost black) hair. he has tried to bleach his hair, and then dye it blue, but it just turned brown. any ideas?

Diva, you should try going to a Salon and asking them what the deal is.

berriegirl: It depends on what you're looking for. Since I am a hair-dye freak I'll share some of my vast knowledge. If you want something to condition your hair and leave it soft try Hydrience. If you want natural looking colour that uses your own natural highlights try Nice and Easy. If you want bright, vibrant colour try Feria, but sometimes their dyes turn to completely different colours (ex. brown to orange) If you want bright colour with a (fairly) nice scent try Herbal Essances.

horses: I have hair slightly similar to yours. What makes my hair look cute it to leave a little hair down in the front, put it halfway up, and put some twisty-thingies (they *might* be called cornrows, but I have no idea what they are .) I have a couple of other ways to do it, but they're harder to explain, but IM me if you want them sitll diva: I agree with what spastic said. Have your brother go to a professionals. It's not working when he tries on his own, and most likely he'll just keep waisting his money, so in his case you should go to a professionals
