anyone else get made fun of?
yesterday, in PE, my so called "friend" brandon hit me in the chest. i just looked and him and he goes "what? that couldn't have hurt. come on, you don't have anything there." hey, screw you. i'll take my 34As and be on my way.
back in middle school i was pretty fat... between then and now (i'm a sophomore) i've lost almost 50 lbs. i went from about 160, to about 110. but anyway... i *always* got fat comments. "hey fat ass!" as i walked down the hall... and numerous other mean things.
how do you deal?

I haven't had too many mean comments made about my body, but people have called me ugly. It really hurts sometimes, but I've learned to shrug it off.
Were you really "fat" at 160 lbs.? I find that kind of hard to believe, because that's how much I weigh, and I'm fairly thin. Well, maybe we carry our weights differently.

I just shrug it off....that is until I get home. If they were really bad comments, I'd wait until I was home...and cry myself to sleep. But, eh...

its really hard to just shrug stuff like that off. nobodys' perfect, but when people just pick at you to find whats wrong with you....it hurts. even if its just teasing its still painful to hear it coming from somebody.

No one has ever said anything really nasty to my face, I'm sure I've been talked about badly behind my back, but I don't care. If people want to say crap about me, let them. I'm better off without them.

Spazmatikal, my guy friends do the same exact things to me (i.e. hit me on the chest and say there's nothing there), and I'm a B and they still say that. Guys are jerks, well not all, but most. And you know they used to say that all the time, just touch me and say that there was nothing there just to piss me off. Well I finally confronted my best guy friend, he used to do it a lot, and I was like "You know what, you're far from perfect too, so shut up," I said something along those lines. And he was like, "Aw, you know I was just kidding right? " And even though he was just kidding, I told him to stop, and he did. The people that have made fun of you for whatever reason, even if they're not your friends, you should just confront them. Don't let them see you're hurt, just tell them that they're not funny, and they should grow up. And Spazmatikal, the next time your friend Brandon says that there is nothing on your chest, look at his "package" and say, "Well, gee, not much there, either!" LoL

I've never had to deal with anything like that, but I don't think I could handle it. I can barely take the criticism I give myself. So I want to tell you that I admire your strength and remind you that there are a lot of jerks out there who will cut you down to make themselves feel better. Don't let them do it. Remember that you are beautiful because there is no such thing as ugly and remember that beauty is carried in the smile, not the stomache.

When people say mean things to me I just saty strong I don't really let it pull me down so I really say nothing I just look at them like ok But I know that GOD has something in store for them that they will not be able to handle for calling me names or saying stuff about me behind my back. So I really don't trip cause I know what I am and want I ani't know what I can and can't not do.

I'm never the reference of any nasty comments. I used to be, when I was from the age of 8-12 and I still have a hard time about it. I mean, everyone who reads that would probably think I should be over it by now (it's like 6 years later) but I went through so much. I'm a completely different person than I was then. I've learned to take things in stride. If someone does say something about me I've learned to completely ignore them, stick my nose up and mosey on my way. I may get upset about it later, but I now have people I can turn when I'm upset. Back then I had no one. That's how I dealt.

Ugh I get it all the time...Last week I got 13 comments in ONE DAY. I mean at first you can just shrug it off but really it just builds up. By the end of the day I was tottally a bitch. Everything someone said to me I took the wrong way. Really its not healthy to just let it build up. I feel better now but if people are teasing you tell someone. I know it doesnt sound the best but if you let it build up it will just get worse...Feel better anyone who really needs it. Anybody else need help pm me!

^^ That is terrible! 13 in one day! I think you should really tell the teacher or someone - is it the same ppl always being mean to u or different ppl who are randomly rude to u? I get about 1 rude comment a week at the most - sumtimes I can go months without one, and sometimes I can get like 4 in one day.. And to any1 who is getting bullied or whenever sum1 says something nasty to u - just remember, they're the ones who think so poorly of themselves and have such low self-esteem that they need to put some1 else down to feel better about themselves. You're not the problem - THEY are.

Well there's this really awful girl in my class who always kept saying I had a JLo butt (which isn't an insult cuz she has the most famous butt in hollywood) and I just got so sick of it so one day I just said " Well maybe you're just jealous because it's obvious your butt isn't exactly remarkable. I think I'll take my JLo butt, which I've gotten numerous compliments on by the way, and get out of here before the green-eyed monster gets me too." Well she never said anything else about it again!
