Lurlene McDaniel. A fantastic author of many teenage books. What do you think of her?
A few good books are:
~Baby Alicia's Dying. ~Saving Jessica. ~Till' Death Do Us Part.
Although I think she should concentrate on happy things as well as bad things, she does a very good job. I love her books and I can't get enough of them. Do any of you like her also??

i find her books pretty predictable and kinda cheesy but when i'm in the mood for that kind of light reading i enjoy them. i can read one in an hour and a half though so they're a nice alternative to watching tv. i recently read StarryStarry Night and it was pretty good. i'd recommend it if you like her books.

I think her books are kind of depressing. I like books to take me away to fantasy lands... I don't enjoy just concentrating on death and the like. I'm thinking about my own stupid, insignifigant problems. Besides, there's enough death in the world, I don't really think she needs to devote her time to writing about fictional death. I have one of her books (the one with the Amish guy...). It was pretty good, I'm not denying her ability to write, but I just wish she would expand her horizons a little; I can guarantee she would attract more readers if she offered a variety.

I used to read those books in Jr. High. I really liked them, but they were pretty sad. When I was in the mood to get really emotional I would read them. I recommend them, but if you don't like one, you probably won't like all of them.

I didn't like her books... Well, I only read one, but after that I didn't want to read any other books she wrote anymore since they're all about the same subject. I just thought the book I read was sort of unrealistic and superfacial, although it was about a serious subject (cancer). I didn't think it was very well written either... but that's just me. ~*Esther*~

I've read a couple of her books, though I don't remember what their titles are at this moment...I agree with Larigirl they are cheesy and predictable but a good light read.

She has good books. The ones I like are: Don't Die, My Love, Saving Jessica, Till Death Do Us Part, For Better For Worse Forever, Time to Let Go, and Goodbye Doesn't Mean Forever. Though I wish that she would make them more challenging to read. I can read one in about an hour and a half. So sad too. The only book so far that I remember that had a good ending was Saving Jessica.
