This is a poem my sister and her best friend (my big bro) wrote a couple years ago. It's probably my favorite poem I've ever read
You Don't Know Me Would you ever take the time to see The darkness that lurks inside of me? You see me wearing nothing but black And with your friends, talk behind my back. Do you think my earings plug my ears; That your whispers, behind my back, I can't hear? Do you think that my long hair blocks my eyes; That I do not see the stares and glares as I walk by? Do you see my black clothes as some kind of armor; That my hearts made of steel, and your's is somehow warmer? Do you think that I have no soul inside; That I do not hurt, and have no pride? Or, maybe the problem is, That you just don't think at all. You're so full of yourself, You don't care to cause others to fall. The truth is... You don't know me at all.

Well, there's talent in the family. You should try writing. I always like reading your posts so I'm sure your poetry would be no different!
