i love haikus. for people who don't know what a haiku is: it's a three line poem, first line has five syllables, second line has seven syllables, last line has five syllables. i've had conversations with my boyfriend completely in haiku form... it's fun i was writing some the other day in class, so here's some to get started... AP testing soon tiffany losing her mind yay, mental breakdown! comfortable arm it beckons me to lay down sleep tiffany, sleep thought in syllables quite a disturbing thing, yes? too many haikus. PMS is bad. it makes me homicidal... midol is my friend. i like to shower it makes me feel clean. hygeine! soap decreases smell

Okay, I know this isn't what you're looking for.
And then there's Computer Haiku In Japan, they are considering replacing the impersonal Windows messages with Haiku poetry messages. Serious Error All shortcuts have disappeared Screen, Mind, both are blank Your file was so big It might be very useful But now it's gone The Website you seek Cannot be found But countless more exist Chaos reigns within Reflect, repent, reboot Order shall return Program aborting Close all that you have worked on You ask far too much Windows NT crashed I am the Blue Screen of Death No one hears you scream Yesterday it worked Today it's not working Widows is like that First snow, then silence This thousand dollar screen Dies so beautifully The Tao that is seen Is not the true Tao until You bring fresh toner Stay the patient course Of little worth is your ire The network is down A crash reduces Your expensive computer To a simple stone Three things are certain Death, taxes, and loss of data Guess which has occurred You step in the stream But the water has moved on This page is not here

Oh, I remember how I was forced to write hundreds of haikus during the sixth grade. How I hated them! Some haikus can be really good though. Just not the ones I write.

I love haikus, though I've never tried writing them! Let's have a go at it...
Vase full of flowers, He loves me he loves me not No more flowers left
The first of July A normal day for others A lost hope for me
That's it. My brain just went dead. More later.
