i wasn't sure i should put this on Music or here, but since it was on tv, i put it here.  anywayz, personally, i thought last nite's Grammy's kinda....sucked. most of the performances were boring. NONE of my fave artists won in any category, & what was with Britney's & Celine's '80s hairdos?! the only parts i liked, were when BSB presented an award (hee hee), & when Alan Jackson sang "Where Were You When (The World Stopped Turnin')". what ya'll think? |

I hated Britney's hair.
And you're right anything with the Backstreet Boys is worth watching.
Looking forward to them being on Fear Factor. That will be good.
I thought the Lady Marmalade performance was pretty good.

Oooh, thanks for that BSB update. Gotta put that on my calendar. I thought the Grammys sucked too. The host (Jon Stewart, right?) really sucked. Almost nobody laughed at his "jokes". I hope they get someone else for next year. It was really boring, I had a hard time staying awake. The very last part was really bad. The host introduced Michael W. Smith as Michael K. Smith, then seemed to resent having to correct himself, then didn't say sorry, just walked past the poor guy. Then poor Michael wasn't let into the "gospel" thing. Why, because he was white? I'm not racist, but I think last night was racist. Why is it that almost always, unless you're watching the Dove awards, only black people are allowed to sing gospel music? Has anyone else ever noticed thaty? The AMA's were so much better. Oh, and yes, Britney's hair was scary!! When will she learn there is a middle road between slicked down, greasy hair, and huge, 80's mall hair?  |

It was an okay show. I liked the Dave Matthews Band performance and was glad when U2 won 4 Grammys. I didn't get Britney's hair...it was so ugly. Notice how she didn't even get nominated for Best Female Pop Vocals....  I thought that was a little weird. |

I was very happy about that last part. It's great that maybe they're gonna start recognizing real talent, and not just proclaiming talent to be relative to the latest fad.
