I love the Oscars. The Oscars and VH1/Vogue Fashion Awards are basically the only awards I ever watch. I just think all the other awards are worthless of my time. Anywayz, I love Nicole Kidman's outfit and so far, Moulin Rouge only won one award, for costume. It definitely should've won more. Definitely. Oh well, hopefully it'll have better luck later.

I never go to see movies, or if I do, they never get nominated for anything. So, I never get that interested in the Oscars (also known as the Academy Awards ). It bores me when people I've never seen before make 20 minute long acceptance speeches for a hyped-up movie I've never seen.

the new Kodak Theatre looked pretty cool- kinda *royal hollywood*-like, ya know? i didn't watch all of it- i just tuned in & out every once & awhile. NONE of the actress' dresses looked all that great (IMO). does anybody know who won for Best Actor/Actress?

Halle Berry was kind of annoying. She talked for so long...did y'all see it? She started thanking her lawyers...goy. Ooh, and Shrek won best Animated! And "For The Birds" won best animated short film... Love, ~The Kitten~

halle berry cried so much! it was cool that she won and all but she got a bit too emotional for my liking.
i wish sean penn would've won best actor but at least denzel is better than russel crowe.
the only actress' dress that i really liked was julia roberts'. she's always got nice clothes. plain but awesome.

Halle Berry's cool and all, but she also got too emotional for me. Going on and on about how she was a "vessel" or something. They're only the Oscars, geez. ;D
And yes, anyone is better than Russel Crowe. No, I don't know the guy, but he just seems a bit too arrogant and cocky for me from what I have seen in interviews.

^^^ It was a big moment. It was the first time a black actor and actress had taken out the top awards, and it is something to be emotional about.

^^^ Yeah, but why does it matter what race the person is? So it was the first time two black people won an award... big deal. Race shouldn't be an issue.

<<Yeah, but why does it matter what race the person is? So it was the first time two black people won an award... big deal. Race shouldn't be an issue.>> Race is an issue. If it isn't, why did it take 74 years for two black people taking home the top honors? Race has always been an issue in Hollywood.
