does anyone else on here just not watch TV in general? i don't. maybe an hour a week, at best. when i'm at my grandparent's house i occasionally watch the disney channel (lol) to see some re-runs of boy meets world, or even stevens. but past that, i i never flip on the TV. i can't stand the ads, some of the horrible acting in some of the shows, and just being marketed to in general. plus the crap you see on TV... it sickens me what they show these days.
i prefer to veg out on the comp. anyone else anti-TV?

I'm not sure I feel quite so strongly. But I know what you mean. Even my favorite shows are reruns lately, so I don't see the need to sit in front of the tube for hours watching stuff I already saw. The worst part about it now are the copy-cat shows that try to one-up others. Reality TV and Talent search shows. Lessee, with Reality TV, you eat something disgusting, fall off a beam, and hope you can live through the maggots being poured over your head, yep, seen it and done it. Talent search shows: "You're good, but it could be better." "You sing like a monkey in heat." Next! Seen it. Emergency/Hospital shows: Someone dies, someone lives because of heroic means, then there's a love thing between two characters, and someone feels like they can't take the pressure and quits half a dozen times. If it keeps going like this, I'll just have to turn the TV on once a day for a few minutes. Ah, he's eating a bug while he sings for a chance to work in a hospital by riding a bike 2,000 feet up while balancing between the wings of an out of control airplane. (Hits the OFF button on the remote. )

i don't like all of those reality shows where they stick cameras in bathrooms and bedrooms to see whose having sex with who, or when you can tell that a show is copied from something else. but at my dad's house, it's on 24/7. i can't stand it.
