I loved this movie! It was amazing, it's been a long time since a family movie came out that actually had an interesting plot line instead of characters named FuzzyWuzzy and HoneyPoo. Sean Biggerstaff is amazing! He's cute and very very talented. In the first of the movie I really wanted to slap Hermione but after a while she grew on me. And I loved the part with Fluffy! lol.

I looked through the threads and found this one... my favorite movie! I LOVE IT! And I can't wait for HP: CoS to come out... All of the actors were wonderful, although I just reread HP: TSS and I had a whole bunch of different "images" and different ways the lines were said in my head. I think one just has to seperate the movie from the book.
The Weasley twins were/are one of my favorite parts. "Honestly, woman, and you call yourself our mother." I started cracking up in the theater when I heard that. Then there's Snape, another of my favorite characters. Alan Rickman was perfect! And then there was Sean Biggerstaff. What can I say? Can he teach me to play Quidditch? LOL
Need the second movie to come out now!!!

Yeah, after watching the DVD a few times I had to read the book again too. And I must say even though I still LOVE the movie I got even more disappointed about stuff left out. Like I've mentioned before there's Peeves who is my absolute fav character. And I also think that they should have done more with Dumbledore. He's such an amazing character but I think they didn't do enough with him. Like how much he likes lemon drops, or in the Great Hall when he says a few words etc. And what happened to the school song where everyone picks they're favorite melody and the Weasley twins end up singing it to a really slow death march and are the last people singing? Or when Harry, Ron, and Hermione are going through the tests they just leave Snapes test out completely.
Oh well, it's still a good movie.
OMG, I can't wait to see the Chamber of Secrets. Only a few more months to go. It comes out November 15.

The 5th book was delayed until May 2002, which is now long past us!
JKR, just spit the book out already! You've had 3 years to write one shorter than GoF, now write it!
I loved the books and the movie, I thought Draco, Ron, Harry, and Oliver were all so cute. D, R, and H are turning into deep-voiced tooties in CoS!
*is excited*
