Have you seen it? What did you like about it? What didn't you like? Did it seem really realistic? Was it a bit TOO realistic? What ages do you think it's suitable for? Did you cry when you watched it? Did you enjoy the book or the movie more?
I've seen the movie of The Diary of Anne Frank twice. One time was in English class, and the other time was when it was played on CBS. I liked how the characters seemed just how they imagined them. Ecpecially Mr. Frank! He was really good. I also thought that Meep was a really good actress. I didn't like how long it was dragged out for. I mean, it gave you a good image of what was happening but even so, it was still a little to stretched out. It was really realistic but I don't think it was too realistic because they had to set the setting like that to give you a real idea of what life was really like during That war. I cried during the movie the second time more so than the first time. I enjoyed the movie more becaue it went on till after the book went, even though they didn't know if it was all fact. I liked it... How bout you?

I've seen the movie once, before I read the book. I really liked it, I also thought that it was very realistic, not too realistic. After I had seen the movie, I wanted to read the book, but I didn't enjoy one of them more than the other. I think they do know what went on after the book ends, because Anne Frank's father was still alive untill... well, not so long ago anyway. And besides, Miep also survived. I don't really remember that much from the movie (it's been a couple of years since I saw it), but I thought it was in black and white, right? I still wonder if that was because it was all so dark in there or because it was made when they didn't have colour movies. ~*Esther*~

on cbs the movie was in color. the girl playing anne looked almost exactly like her. she was a really good actress. it wasn't too realistic. it was just right. and yes i cried. a lot. that movie kinda haunted me for awhile. ya know what i mean? because of how cruel the world could be to the poor jews and others they targeted.

I haven't seen it... I've actually never even heard it but I'm currently reading the book for English, and it is really good. I really want to see the movie now.

Oh man, I love this movie! It is really good, I think the actors portray the real people really well. Especially Anne and Otto, they really looked and acted just as I would have thought they did in real life. When this was on TV, I taped it, so I watch it a lot. I have probably seen it like twelve times. In fact, I might go watch it now!

I haven't read the entire book yet but I loved the Anne Frank movie that was on ABC back in the spring of 2001. I'm not sure if that is the movie all of you are discussing or not but it was a very powerful movie. I'm not sure if I cried while watching this movie but I can remember getting goosebumps. The movie showed the harsh reality of what it was like for Anne, her family and the rest of the jews that were in those concentration camps. I'm not sure if ABC released this movie on video but if anyone happens to find it somewhere, I would highly recommend renting/buying it.
