My all time favorite scientist is the Russian, Pavlov. He's very interesting. He was born in Russia and he didn't start school until age 11 due to a childhood accident. He actually went to school planning to be a priest but he ended up transferring to the University Of St. Petersburg. One of his more genius experiments, I think, was his tests on conditined responses. That's the one where he measured salivary response on dogs to food. Then he began ringing a bell while he fed them the food and there was still salavation as the response. Soon enough, he was able to get them to salivate just by ringing the bell. I mean, I'm kind of against some of his experiments though... but they're over and done with so instead I look at the amazing things he found out and how he unfluenced what science is today.

I don't have a whole profile but my favourite scientist is definitely Dr. Frederick Banting. he discovered that diabetes is caused by a lack of insulin.... it's because of him that i'm alive today cuz i take insulin every time i eat. it's also kind of cool that he lived and worked in London Canada which is near where I live. he's awesome!
