Has anyone ever 'done' or 'experienced' this? Lucid dreaming is when you dream, but you know you're dreaming and you can sort of decide yourself what's going to happen next in your 'dream'. I've never really had a lucid dream, only a couple of times when I knew that I was dreaming, but I couldn't decide what was going to happen. But it's supposed to be something you can learn. So... have you ever had a lucid dream? ~*Esther*~

Yes, I have had several dreams like this. Not sure if this counts, but in one dream I had I was trying to find my dog (and I have dreamed of that before but like a really long time ago) and the man (or my mom, forgot, lol) that was helping me,I go "You know,I've dreamed this before" weird.

I've had lots of these types of dreams. Stupid and meaningless but they're still lucid. Sometimes a sound outside will be put into the dream, that's the wild part. Or I've had the radio on and a song will become part of, or influence the dream.

I have lucid dreams a lot. And the strange thing is that I usually make BAD things happen. Weird, huh?

Yeah, I've had a couple... One was where I was driving a car, and suddenly it went over the side of a bridge. Well, as it was falling, I knew that we were going to crash into the water, but then I realized that I could make the car fly back onto the road, so I turned the wheel and I did so. It was pretty neat. And then I had one where my dad was yelling at me and then I knew that I was dreaming and that I could wake up (I almost was awake), and yet I didn't wake up, I wanted to see what was going to happen... LOL And I had another one last night that I influenced a bit, but I'm sure you don't want to read any more.

/\ No tell us more, that's what this thread is about.
Then I'll tell you; I can't tell you how many times I've fallen from great heights and hitting the ground, shot, and stabbed in my dreams.
But I also know what it feels like to fly without wings or an engine.

I knew that I was dreaming and that I could wake up (I almost was awake), and yet I didn't wake up, I wanted to see what was going to happen... I've done the same thing. And then I've had a couple dreams where I've forced myself to wake up. Like once this maniac was chasing me down in a car and I ran to the top of a viaduct and ended up falling off the edge with the car coming after me and right before I hit the ground I woke myself up.

Yeah I have done that too (stayed asleep to see what happened) Once though, I woke up for some odd reason and couldn't go back to sleep and I was mad the whole day because the dream was about me and my boyfriend and I wanted to see what would happen. ;D
