What do you think about the mysterious designs in wheat fields? Do you believe that UFOs created them? Your thoughts.

It's amazing what you can do with 2x4's strapped to your feet. I don't beleive in UFO's as far as aliens and spaceships go. Why did the crop circles suddenly appear some years ago then never happen again? And I sincerely hope against hope that with the movie, "Signs" that just came out that people won't be stomping through corn fields so they can say to the news, "Hey, look what we found, pretty creepy huh?"

I have to say, I believe in the alien thing. I know that a lot of crop circles have been made by humans, called "circle makers" but on a lot of them, there are no foot steps leading in to make the circle, and the wheat isn't damaged like it is with the piece of wood. Compasses spin out of control, and some people well, get "turned on." It is really strange. Some people will also faint, and get dizzy.

I'm not exactly sure. I know that people have been making many of the crop circles that have been found, but I also believe that it could be a natural accurance... And it's entirely possible (to me) that some of those circles are made by extraterrestrials. So I guess you could say that I'm undecided.

there is a theory that they have something to do with electromagnetic fields and stuff like that.....i believe in that one. but the alien one is cool too. but i believe in aliens, just not that we have met them or encountered them yet. i think they can be a hoax, a well arranged one, but i think they're a product of wierd electromagnetic stuff, or to do with the sun. *~pob-b-b-b-b-b-OH

I don't know what makes crop circles, but I don't think it's anything human at least. Crop circles are caused because of heat, or something... they also occur in ice and snow (and carrots... and corn... etc...), and it seems as though that part has been warmed up (which it has, according to some scientific stuff ). If that would be true that they are caused by electromagnetic fields or something... why would they have such weird shapes? Some look really complicated, and not like anything nature would 'produce'... ~*Esther*~

As to the weird shapes, I'm an artist and I can draw you whatever weird shape you want. If you attach a large drum to a swing arm, you can suspend the drum a few inches off the ground. That way, you can bend the plant stalks without breaking them. A washer attached to the brim of a baseball hat allows you to sight the length of the design you want, and that keeps it aligned, as long as you pick out an object like a tree and keep it inside the washer.
