Absolutely not. We can't ban something just because it may offend someone. Besides, the WTC tragedy was more than 6 months ago. People need to get over it. If someone gets really upset over a song, they can simply change the station. It's not that difficult.

They should not be banned. But I would hope the director and writers would be sensitive to the issue to an extent, but outright banning such material seems to me to be in flagrant opposition of freedom.

No, they shouldn't be banned at all. What good would it do? The attacks still happened, and banning TV shows and songs isn't going to make what happened that day go away, or even make people forget.
President Bush said a long time ago that people need to get back to their everyday, normal lives, and isn't TV and music included in that?
Like Cass said, if you don't want to watch something, or listen to a song that reminds you of the attacks, simply change it. It's not fair to ban those things for everyone.

i agree with all of you . "changing the station" isn't that hard. and if people can get away with banning songs/movies/TV shows because of the 9-11 attack, then what about all of the other wars that happened in the past? or even some of the more "contraversal" issues that people have (ie, homosexuality, religion, pre-marrital sex, etc). if you get rid of all of that, there wouldn't be anything left.

No, these songs/shows, etc, should not be banned. I mean, what good will it do to ban all those things anyways? Banning these things isn't going to stop violence. If someone doesn't like it, then there's an easy solution for that: don't listen/watch it! It's that simple.

[glow=pink,2,300]I pretty much agree with everyone else here. In short, they shouldn't be banned. [/glow]

No I don't think they should be banned. All of my arguments have been stated already, so I don't think I need to say them again.
