Discuss your various bilingual classes here. I'm a Latin kid, myself... It's not the typical language to learn (no conversational speech, like "Where is the bathroom?" and whatnot), but it's useful, actually. My teacher is amazing, I just finished my first year and we're almost finished learning the entire language. We move pretty fast. It's not hard, though, I have a 100 average. Have any various budget cuts affected you? I believe my school once offered German, but these things have been taken away. Is there anything you would like to learn?

I learnt French and Arabic in school and Sinhalese at home. French class rocked, but I had to drop it to take Math instead (we have to choose between subjects in our school once we reach the last two years and the choice was Math/French/Information Systems). I want to learn German and Russian. I already know a few Russian words- I've been learning from friends

I've been learning the lovely language of Español for the past two years. It's very useful and a wonderful tongue. I'm planning on taking it throughout high school.
Oh, I'd absolutely love to learn Latin. I'd jump at the chance. But unfortunately, my school doesn't offer that sort of class, so I guess I'm kind of stuck for now. It's too bad. I've always been interested in dead languages, the roots of our English words, and all that. It's always facinated me. But who knows? Maybe I'll get the chance to learn, too, once I'm in college.

I'm learing Espanol (my computer doesn't make the little ~ accent over letters ) I plan on taking it through out highschool, and In our 3rd year we actually get to go to Mexico to practice it in a country that actually speaks. ( I actually wanted to learn the language as they speak it in Spain but they only offer the Mexican version it's pretty much the same, but a few words are different)

I took sign language for two years, but they didn't offer a third year so I couldn't continue it... I'd love to though
