Never! To keep this short, I'm a hard worker. I earn my grades. People who cheat piss me off beyond belief because they do not earn it. But in the long run, they're hurting themselves by not developing good work habits or learning.

I've cheated before...not lately though because I've been studying alot more. But, when I do cheat, I don't feel that guilty because I tell the person (if I cheated off a person) I cheated. I'll say, "Hey, I copied like 3 of your answers, is that allright?" Most kids are really nice about it. Sometimes, I'll write all the notes I need for a test on a notecard and put it unbetween my legs. I can just look at that. Call me a bitch, I just don't feel bad. I want a good grade, so I get one.

I cheat ! But not excessively or NEthing ! I mainly do it when I was busy and I really would have done the assignment. I hate to cheat esp. when I would have done the assignment and KNEW the answers. But sometimes I just do, because I need the grade. Or sometimes I haven't finished the test and the person next to me is like "Heres the answers." So sometomes when it's just right there in your face, you feel compelled to cheat.

^^^ I don't really see anything wrong wtih copying people's homework assignments. I mean, if you had done it, you would have been allowed to use the book anyway, right? It's not like you had to memorize or know the information. So copying it from someone else is like using a different "source". Most teachers don't collect and grade homework anyway. They just check to see if you did it. I never cared if my answers were right, because it wouldn't affect my grade anyway.

The whole point of going to school is to learn. By cheating, you are not learning... And teachers aren't stupid, sooner or later, if you continually cheat, they'll find out. Hell, I've been blamed for cheating even when I wasn't!
<<if i know the answers on it i do them if i dont then i look around.. its not that hard come on and who cares where u get the answers as long as they are right!!!>>
How can you not feel guilt, knowing that someone studied for a test, worked hard to pass, and you're taking the credit for something they did? I have cheated, in desperate times (and it never happened again), and I felt so bad. Sure, the answers are there, but nothing feels better than studying for a test, getting a good grade, and feeling proud because your hard work paid off.
Like Cass said, homework is a different story. But if I do need some homework answers, I usually have my friend explain the answer to me, so I know for future reference. I tend to only ask for homework answers when I'm really pressed for time... It doesn't take much longer to look in the book for the answers, and the information tends to stay in your mind, so I almost always do my homework myself. The same goes with my friends... If they want an answer, I'll work with them and help them figure it out on their own. You tend to remember better that way.

Ugh cheaters piss me off. Some girl cheated OFF OF ME without me knowing it, and the teacher saw our answers matching when I missed a couple, and she missed the exact same.. but who got their test ripped up? I DID!! Did she get it ripped up? NOPE!! FUCK CHEATERS!!
And btw, this doesn't include homework because that's totally different. But tests.. good gawd.. can't you people use your brain for once, or is your social life so important to you that you can't take a few mins out of your busy schedule to study for a little bit? ugh

I hate what people cheat off of me. I now make every effort to cover up my answers during tests. I am very paranoid. Why should someone use the answers that *I* cared to study for? Why should they be able to go out have fun the night before the test while *I* am the one studying?

I kind of cheat... NEVER NEVER off of other people though... NEVER. They studied for the test... and it would piss me off if someone cheated off of me. Plus, what if they got it wrong?? Then I get it wrong too. And I do always study for tests. HARD. Extremely hard. But sometimes, no matter how many times I look at something, repeat it, write it out... am asked it, I still can't remember. So, every so often I write little hints at answers to some things on my hand, never more then like 10 words of help... just little. And I don't exactly feel bad about it. I studied.... I came prepared for the test, yet I just COULDN'T get some of the stuff no matter how hard I tryed... So ya... I cheat. And on homework?! Doesn't EVERYONE! We all rush into class "OMG who has this answer?!" And yeah.... we just all kind of do it together, we got the answers, just from a different source is all. Plus, teachers at my school rarely take them in for marks, except for my socials teacher, so for those ones I do myself. Otherwise *shrugs* whatever to get it done.

Once when I was in grade school, I saw that some girl was cheating off of me, and I changed my answers purposely so they would be wrong. Then I just kind of sat there and waited for her to bring her test back up, and then I changed them back. I think I forgot to change a couple back, but it was alright, because it was still funny.
I also remember a story my Spanish teacher in 9th grade told me. She said that there was this guy in her class whom she knew was cheating. He would copy the answers off of the same person's test every time (they had assigned seating). So she talked to the kid who the guy had been cheating off of, and apparently he knew about it too. She told him to make every one of his answers wrong on the next test, and she would give him a retest after school. She just really wanted to catch this guy. So for the next test, they did exactly that. The teacher handed back the tests the next day. She gave the test back first to the one guy who had taken the retest. He got a 100% on it. Then the other guy was about to get his test back, and he had a big grin on his face. Well, that expression completely changed when he looked at the giant red zero on the top of the test. Because he was so surprised, he accidently blurted out that he didn't understand how they got different grades. So obviously he was busted. I thought that was so hilarious. The guy definitely deserved it. I wish more teacher would do that. That teacher was awesome.

What are you going to do when you can't "find" the answers to a problem you encounter at your future job? How about in college, where you will get suspended or even expelled if you cheat?

I've actually thought about purposely writing the wrong answers and changing them later. I suppose I will do that on the next test. The girl next to me always copies me.. Do I have a surprise for her! ;D

What about group cheating? lol
I'll admit my freshman year in Geometry for the exam we were all sharing answers...we only had about 12 peeps in the class. People from across the room would be like "psst, i got letter A for number 72..." ahahaha.
