Is anyone taking AP test this May?? I'm taking my first one for European History, and I am pretty nervous. But I do really good in that class but the whole test is just really intimidating. Are you taking any?

Yep, I'm taking the English Lit. one. Eek! I'm kinda freaked, but like you, I do well in my class and get decent grades on my essays, so I'm hoping I'll do well. I want that college credit. <flips through calendar> Really need to review and study. Only a month away. Ay carumba.

Well they are Advanced Placement tests. If you take an Advanced Placement coarse, you are able to take an AP Test, and if you score high enough you get college credit.

Well its all over now! I'm so glad that all the pressure is gone!
I thought the multiple choice was the hardest part, I only left about 3 blank, which I think was pretty good considering some of my friends said they had left upwards of 10 blank.
The essays I think were my strongest point. That DBQ on Manchester was kind of hard, I did: abuse of workers, pollution, and attempts at reform. Then on the first essay I did #4, which was how Europe was like between WWI and WWII, I did the Great Depression, the rise of Fascism, and France and Britain clinging to their imperial empires. The second essay I did was #6, which was the decline in European nationalism after 1945, I did the bastardization of military service, the destruction of the balence of power, and the actions of the EU. All of my essays were about 4 pages long (front and back) with the DBQ being a little longer, I only had like one sheet of paper left. I'm fairly positive that I will get a 4, and there is a good possibility that I will get a 5.

^^^ oh God. i was so disappointed after the AP euro test. i've worked so hard in that class, and for the last month i've been studying like two hours a night. the multiple choice wasn't that bad - i left six blank. i figure getting 1 1/2 points off is better than getting six points knocked off. i wanted to cry when i got to the essay portion. i normally do really well on the DBQ's, but the manchester one was such an odd question. and then for the free response... i did the one on the witch trials and then the one on nationalism. everything was pulled straight from my ass. it sucked. i have another AP test tuesday

Well, AP scores were made available today (technically yesterday). I pestered my mom until she gave me her credit card so i could call the company.
I'm disappointed and relieved at the same time. I got a 3 on the Biology exam and a 3 on the European History exam. I thought i was going to do better on the bio one, and worse on the euro one... so i suppose it evened out. oh well...

Crap. Those are my sentiments. I forgot all about it until I went to my school's web site and saw something about them. Eek. I need to get a 4 or 5 on my English Lit., otherwise it won't do me any good and I just wasted $80... If I get a 3, then I'm getting credits that I already got in my English class and that won't do me any good.
