My homecoming was just last Saturday. I still don't know what exactly to make of it but I'll say it was fun for the most part. Though my school is really dumb and the dance part was kinda stupid. they really don't do much for like decorations and such. And then just today I heard that our Homecoming Queen wasn't allowed into the dance because she didn't have her school ID with her. How dumb is that ? I know of a whole lot of kids who got into the dance without their ID but that just goes to show how dumb my school is.
So anywho, how what was your Homecoming like ? Is it a big deal in your school or not so much ? What did you wear ? etc . ( We lost our Homecoming game by the way, 19-27)

homecoming for my school is next month. our football team will probably lose, because we suck. and there is no way in hell i'm going. tickets are $60 per person. $120 for a couple. no way. that is way too expensive for something i don't even like - a social event. plus the extra cost of a pretty dress, finding transportation (it's not at our school, it's about a half an hour away at a hotel), and everything else. no thanks.

OMG~ that's way WAY to much to pay for tickets. Geez, our tickets were only $3 per person or $5 per couple.

Our homecoming was kinda boring. We won though. I didn't have a date though. But all the people that I would've went with played on the Varsity Football team, so I couldn't have been with them during the game. Afterwards was pretty fun though. Partly because I didn't have to pay for my meal. The waiter took to long for the meal so we just skipped out. I didn't have to pay to get in the game either because I'm a cheerleader - eventhough I'm a freshmen and it was the Varsity game. So I didn't pay for NEthing that night. The afterpartys are a lot funner than the game, because the football players are there.

I'm a freshman, so it's my first time hearing about Homecoming and actually being able to be a part of it. I'm probably not going to go. To me it seems sort of pointless to go to Homecoming as a freshman, so I'll probably just hang out with my friends that night and hold off until next year to go.

Our homecoming is this Friday, but I don't think I'm going to go. I'm one of those people who don't really have any school spirit, so I really don't care! We don't have a dance, all we have is the game. All week we have different theme days: Monday (today) was Nerd Day, tomorrow is Flashback Day, Wednesday is Polka Dot and Stripes Day, and Thursday is Spirit Day and is also the day of the Homecoming Parade. We don't have school on Friday, so I guess its Rest Day!

I didn't go to homecoming this year. Partly because our tickets were $32 per person, I needed a dress and I had no money, and because my friends had the same problem. It sucks that tickets are so expensive in HS. Last year (in JHS) they were no more than $5. What could be so expensive at a dance that they charge us $32 is my question...
