my PE teacher isn't 100% bad. in fact, outside of class he can be a nice person to talk to.....if you're a guy. but so many people in my school, my friends in other states, etc just keep saying that they don't like PE. i was wondering how you feel about this subject.
now, for me, i personally don't see why we have to have it. there are so many people in my school (like 80-90%) who participate in sports. and my teacher is just unreasonable most times.
what are your thoughts?

I hate it, hate it, hate it. I'm completely unathetic. Sports aren't my "thing". I'd rather solve a math problem or dance (some schools offer dancing as a PE alternative-- not mine).
The people in my class take it way too seriously. We play basketball, for example, and I'm yelled at for not making a shot. Yes, but then who does everyone depend on for homework help afterwards? ME!
The teacher tells me I'm not trying because I can't run around the gym 10 times without practically collapsing.
For me, gym class isn't a nice alternative class where I can play around and have fun, it's hell on earth where I do nothing but make a fool of myself.

OMG, I hate PE! I'm not the only one who gets yelled at... during Volleyball (that's what unit we're on...) I kept on getting yelled at! I'm like "get over it!" One day it was so bad I just stopped playing for 10 mins...
There is no reason for us to really have PE! I mean, what are the benefits of playing basketball at school? If you wanna play so bad, join the team!

It's okay. Last year my teacher didn't really make us do anything. This year the teacher I have is always making us do testing and run miles, I don't mind too much. All we really got to do to get a good grade is dress out, and thats not too much to ask for.

Okay...I hate PE. For one thing, my PE teacher is a creep - and he just happens to teach my U.S. History class too! Ugh. He doesn't let us do anything different, instead we always have to do 'Weber's Workout' which is a completely idiotic workout that he made up. It lasts 40 minutes, and by the end of it I'm nearly dehydrated. We either do that or we play volleyball. Ugh, I hate it so much.

I like it, but I hate it. Right now, I'm a junior in a freshman's class. I never had the chance to take freshman PE, so I get to do it now. Some people in the class are as hard core as I am. I love sports and physical activity. I love being the best at the things we do. I hate the fact the asome of the people in my class disrespect my teacher. The only thing she is doing is her job, and I think she's doing a good job. I think my teacher is hysterical. She appreciates my participation, and I think that's cool. I'm glad that I'm taking the class, because it makes me want to work out. Now I try to run every morning before school.

I hate PE with a passion! I see no point it... What are we actually gaining? Nothing. It should be an elective. Our teacher isn't much better either. If someone can't go down all the way on the push ups he embarrasses them in front of the whole class by making them do it in front of them. Its not fair. You have to smell the whole day after too. Errr. I got myself in a bad mood now......

I like PE! It's my last period of the day, so it's nice to just blow off some steam. Although I'm not too good at sports that involve co-ordination like volleyball and basketball, we're marked a lot more on effort. I love running and stuff, and I love exercising. We never get homework (except in health, which is only a few days out of the semester, and it's easy), so it's a worry-free class. ;D

i hate PE with a fierce loathing passion. i'm completely unathletic. i don't fit in. i get picked on. people throw stuff at me while we're sitting for roll call. people call me names. what have i done? nothing. i'm different. i'm such a passive person... i truly don't understand why i'm constantly picked on. blah. i'm so glad this is my last semester of it.

I don't have anyhting against PE, the subject. But my teacher is a cow! Absoluteley! When we get to 'choose' what sport to play, it's either hockey, Soccer, or netball... Otherwize, it's ALWAYS softball, baseball, whatever you wanna call it... The younger children have movement. Which is danceing. Not us though. Thank goodness we have communication instead of PE next semester! Something to look forward to...

I LUV PE!....We have a great teacher, and he makes us get excercise, but doesnt over do it.
Usually, it's just once running around 400 m or walking a 1500 m. It's no biggie. Just take it slow.
We just started baseball....and it's not bad at all, really. It's quite fun!
