What time do you start school in the morning?? And what time do you get out?
Mine starts at 7:20 on the dot. Last year it was 8:06 (it's not random, it's part of a schedule). But we get out at 2:20 which is a plus!

Middle school started at 8:30 (pretty good, gave me a good amount of sleep), and ended at 3:00. High school, which I'll be starting in less than a month, starts at 7:15 (Ack! Earlyness!) and ends at 1:59. No, not 2:00... 1:59.

^^^1:59.....lol. That's cool that you get out of school so early, though, Lisa. School starts at 7:25am for me. And it end at 2:25pm. Fair enough. I have to get up at 6am....but oh well, I'll get used to it.

Wow, so it looks like most of us have 7 hour days. Urk, that's like half my day.

Starting at 7:30 is too early for teenagers' bodies. That's pretty stupid if you ask me. This semester, I scheduled on purpose days that never start earlier than 10 a.m. Three days out of five, I finish at 4 p.m., one day I finish at 2:30 p.m., and on Fridays I finish at 11:30 a.m. Welcome to college everyone!

Sarah, you're lucky that the classes you wanted to take were actually available at later times. I'm taking an 8:30 class yet again because it wasn't offered at another time that wouldn't interfere with my other classes.

^^My school is huge and there are lots of sections for each class. I also registered very early so I got more selection. However, I still didn't get all the classes I wanted (more on that in another thread). Oh, and I've had 8:30 classes before - they suck. Poor Cassiopeia.

^^^ I registered early too. I'm in the honors society, and we get to select our classes before everyone else. But when I went to schedule my classes, I found that a lot of the later classes conflicted with each other. So I had to take earlier classes in order to get all the ones I wanted. But luckily I only have an 8:30 class three times a week.

^^ONLY 3 times a week?! Three times a week is a lot!!! You're a brave woman - I CAN'T do 8:30 classes. It's impossible.

In high school, school started at 7:50 am and ended at 2:50 pm... Although, I had first release, so I didn't have to get to school until 9:20 am and then I got out at 12:40 thereabouts. This year, I go to school two days a week (Tuesday and Thursday) from 8:00 am to 2:50 pm. <sigh> You wonderful college schedule, you. ;D 4 day weekend!

in Jr. High it was 9-4pm
This year in High school the tardy bell rings at 7:15am - so thats when class officially starts. The day ends at 2.35pm - but every Tuesday and Wednesday - I get to leave at 1pm

9-4 in Jr. High? Wow! My elementary school started at 9:15 and ended at 3:30, it just keeps getting worse and worse I read that teenagers' bodies are meant to be asleep during 2 AM to 11 AM while they're growing and stuff. So the times schools start is totally off!
