Does anyone have chihuahuas? They are so adorable! I got one about a month ago and I just adore him. They can be feisty little guys though.

Chihuahuas are so cute! They are the smallest dogs in the world, thats probobly why. You can fit them anywhere and take them shopping! ;D

I've actually taken my little guy shopping. When I first brought him into a store, I thought they wouldn't allow him in there. Most people just smile at him though.

I don't have a Chihuahua, I have a Pomeranian. But, when you give him a bath and the water sops all his hair down, he looks exactly like a chihuahua! Ha. Does that count? Oh, well. At least they're about the same size.

Awwwww......how cute! I like pomeranians. I couldn't get one though because I have heard they don't get along with other animals. I was at the vet clinic the other day because my Lab needed her stitches taken out. I saw a little pomeranian that had just been clipped and it looked almost exactly like a chihuahua, only a little fatter lol.

Yeah. Poms are definitely known for not getting along with other animals, but that's not usually their fault, it's their owner's fault. Alot of Pomeranian owners let their dogs get away with murder. Something to the effect of - "Ohh...but he's so cute! He doesn't know what he's doing!" And that's why so many Pom's get a bad rep. Sure, agreesiveness is in their nature, but if you start training your dog early and let him know it's not okay to get away with whatever it wants, they turn out pretty okay! Like with mine, we started training early, and, oddly enough, he's started to obey commands and figure out right from wrong at a VERY early age, which isn't common for Poms. He's also great with other animals once he gets used to them. So...it's ALL in the training!
