Nice-- Well, this is a given. I want someone who won't put me down, ever.
Open-minded and Accepting-- I don't like people who are closed minded about a lot of topics like abortion and homosexuality. Not that I'm saying everyone has to agree with it, you are all entitled to your opinion, but I don't want any hatred and biased views pushed on me.
Drug and Alcohol-Free-- I have no tolerance for any type of substance abuse, and I expect most of my friends to feel the same and not smoke pot or drink regularly or anything like that.
Not totally like me-- It's wierd, I'm attracted to guys who are like me, but girls who are just like me annoy the crap out of me for some reason. *shrugs*

I really like people who have things in common with me, but that has become sort of a problem. One guy I know (only online, though) is like my male counterpart. We're EXTREMELY similar. And we fight constantly. We're just too much alike to ever get along, but it's so difficult to find someone who can relate to me, and that's something I look for. To be honest, I don't know what it is. I have two people I consider friends, and neither of them are like me or have any particular qualities that I can't find in someone else (of course, they've very individual, but you know what I mean)...but I love them anyway. I just do

Funny--many of my friends and I do nothing but laugh when we're together. I couldn't hang out with someone without a sense of humor. I'm also big on the open-mindedness. I'm always ragging on my friends for using the word "gay" inappropriately. Some of my closest friends are people who are willing to accept all different people without judging. Love, ~Mike
