I thought Canada should deserve it's own special thread because it's so special. ;D So does anyone live there? Where? If you don't live there, have you been? Where? How did you like it? If you haven't been, do you want to? (Wow, too many stalkerish questions.) Anyway, I live near Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It's all good. I love my country. We've got the best beer. "I am, you know I am... I am Canadian". Woohoo for the commercials. LOL, I think that's enough of me. So talk about big ol' Canada here!

^^^ It depends on where you go. The winters can range from very mild to bitterly cold. The summers where I am can get pretty hot. Well above 90 degrees farenheit.
Anyway, I am Canadian. I live in Calgary, Alberta. I am not too impressed with Canada lately; the federal government sucks, and alot of Canadians themselves are proving to be total hypocrites. For example:
Someone from, I dunno, Nova Scotia: "Canada is great country founded on helping eachother and making sure no one is hurt"
Someone from Alberta: "Let's not ratify Kyoto yet! Alberta's economy will be destroyed, and tens of thousands of Albertans will lose their jobs!"
Nova Scotia person: "Who cares! It's only Alberta!"
That is the type of thing that is really pissing me off about this country. Grr!
Anyway! Canada has good beer...my fave is Big Rock Grasshopper Ale. It's brewed here in Calgary and it's grrreat!

Most of our winter here (BC Canada) is around -30'c, I don't know what that is in fearenheit. Summers don't go above 40'c ever.

^I think this recent summer has gone really hot... like the humidity was like 40C. So it "felt like" it was 40C even though it might've been 35C. And winters can be -10C but they can "feel like" it's -30C.
I think it's BC and Alberta that gets especially cold. Manitoba too. But Southern Ontario really isn't that bad. Apparently Buffalo gets tons more snow than we do, since they're south of the Great Lakes.

a I've never been to Canada but it sounds like a great place. I live in a state that borders Canada (Minnesota) so I am hoping to be able to go to Manitoba this summer.

I live in Canada. In not-really-downtown Toronto to be exact.
My friend Molly lives in Minnesota. Yep.
