<<How the frizzux could you know what I think? >>
Hmmm...now doesn't that sound might familiar?
<< Did I ever equate religious Muslims to Al-Quaeda?>>
Then what do you call this?
<<Islam fights for justice for ALL, not only Muslims.>> And that explains the action of the Taliban? Nice way of dishing out 'justice' to non-Muslims. Show that their objects of worship are not welcome or even tolerated.
<<Good. Did I ever say you didn't accept other religions? I was talking about the T A L I B A N. Not about religious Muslims. Not about you.>>
I was relating your comment to my life and the way I think. Don't like it? Thats your problem.
<<I live in Oman. Think what you want... >>
That's nice to know.
<<I said look at both sides of everything. >>
I look at both sides of everything and then try to judge who I think is right. <<I haven't been forced into "accepting" them.>>
Who mentioned anything about 'forcing' you to accept people. Frankly, I couldn't care less who you accept and who you don't.

wow......good arguers....man...where are you people in my school when i need to argue with people who KNOW what they're talking about. but asides... aw, screw it. i have so much more to saw and argue and ask you and stuff, but i'm too tired to really type out anything longer than a coupla paragraphs. i 'll do all that later. one thing: i NEVER knew muslims aren't allowed to listen to music. i always thought everyone had 'devotional' music at least...know what i mean? but then again...i can't read arabic, have never read the koran, and i feel i wont, until i know arabic (i think...it wouldbe better in arabic...get it?) so that probably explains a lot of my detail ignorance. ~*more to come from this angry interested left wing activist pacifist girl sooners~* pobo

Now people I actually am a muslim. Well half anyway, because my dad is muslim and my mom is christian. and do you know what i find funny, people dont have a real prejudice against Muslims, they have a prejudice against people they think "look Muslim". Now I guess the stereotypical Muslim prob looks like Osama, you know turban wearing, long beard, middle eastern, and the skin color of Osama. Well honest to God I dont personally know any Muslims that habe the whole long beard, turban wearing thing. Maybe it's cause im a black muslim, so of course I dont fit the description of a muslim.
Now I live in new york city and so of course I see alot of "so called muslims" in the streets wearing the turbans and long beards. But isnt it funny how most of them arent even Muslim's in the first place. I believe their Saudi's(im not sure if thats the correct term) and they dont even practice Islam. So their is alot of prejudice towards them and their not even Muslim. I find that funny as hell.
I remember right after september 11th this girl in my school Samatha was telling me how she saw "muslim" walking down the street and she crossed to the other side because she didnt want them to do anything bad to her. Wow, people.
And you know something the Muslims that did the whole september 11th thing dont even believe in Allah or the Quran, because if you read the Quran taking someone's life and taking your own is just about the highest sin you can do and that garentees you entrance to hell. So those people to me are devil worshipers. Also it states very clearly in the Quran, "human life is the one thing you have no controll over and cant really create, only Allah(God) himself can create it, so who are you to take it"
so dont get the Taliban confused with real muslims, because muslim people arent even violent in the first place.

/\ I understand that Islam is a benign religion, but you have to understand, and your idealism falls short when you realize that 60% of Muslims world-wide support Osama bin-Laden. That's in the hundreds of millions of people. And the rioting, killing, and destruction going on in response to the cartoons of Mohammad. The peaceful religion ideal becomes harder to accept. On the flip side, it's sad that moderate Muslims can't or don't speak out because they're afraid, and rightly so, that they'll be targeted by the nutjobs ruining their religion. (Keep in mand that the Muslims are not that different from Judiasm or Christianity, they believe in the exact same God, belive in the entire Old Testament and believe in Jesus as a prophet from God) Actually that statement is not accurate. Jesus was no mere prophet, but the Son of God. Judaism is as different from Christianity as Christianity is from Islam if you look at each doctrine.
