What do you people think about Martha Stewart in this scandal? Anyone think she is going to jail? Or has she already been sentenced ... I have not checked. Anyone know if she has?
I can see it now: Martha walking through the meal line. She sits at her table beside the woman who has made her a biatch. She picks up the food item, jumps up, and yells, "You call this queesh?!" Guard walks over, "Sit and down and shut up b*tch, you're in my world now."

queesh
Out of curiosity, what is queesh?
I don't really care much about Martha Stewart. She became rich and got a little too greedy. Now that's a shock.

Queesh is a food that is mainly made of eggs ... I think. I just remember that it was one of Martha's big things. I think it would be funny to see Martha Stewart in those orange jumpsuits.

The last I read, her next hearing is set for sometime in November, and if convicted, she can receive up to 40 years in prison (which would basically be the rest of her life, seeing as how she's what, 61, I think?) and a fine of $1 million.
I read that a week or so again on Yahoo news, but I can't find the article to post it.
Personally, I don't like her at all. From what I've read/heard, she's guilty, so I'd like to see her get what's coming to her. I don't give a crud whether she's famous or not. If she did the crime, she should have to pay for it.

Pieces, yes, thank you. I could not remember how to spell that word ...
I am glad that there are people who agree that Martha Stewart should go to jail. Because if memory serves, AOL took a poll and close to 50% said that they thought she was innocent or should not serve time and just a hefty fine.

Well, that's up to our judicial system now. I have to say though, 'insider trading' from what I know of it hardly seems like a huge crime, so I'm not really sure if jail time is appropriate.
And no, that has nothing to do with her being famous.

^^Actually they didnt charge her for "insider trading" (which would have held much harsher penalties) I think she was charged for lying to her stockholders.
While I think it would insanely hilarious if Martha went to jail, I think that she will probably get off.

You can go to jail for lying to your stockholders?
Hmm...that seems much more worthy of a large fine than jail time.

She is also being charged with obstruction of justice. That, or someone close to her is. And obstruction of justice is a really big @$$ crime. She's going to jail either way. Her company is failing, all she has is any money that she's squirreled away and I am sure that there is plenty of it to live off of. And if she did not save enough money to live off of, I am sure that she could get Social Security. And if she doesn't get that, there would be someone that would be willing to take her in. Is she even married or a mother of any kind???

If she was to go to jail, it would be a sad day. After all, she tells you how to run your house, and paint it pretty pastel colours.

A rich person like Martha Stewart going to jail? Ha! That'll never happen, lol. She can probably own a jail for all we know

Maybe she'll paint her cell pretty pastel colours, and make and serve gourmet meals to fellow inmates. Hmmmm...

He He! "No, you idiot, I said I wanted SILK, not SATIN doilies on my pillows in the evening!"
"Can't you people do anything right, I said I require 500 thread-count sheets, not these horrible 250 thread-count sheets, and they must be washed in organic soap with the hyacinth essence!"
"What is this, teal walls?, no I specifically said, "Puce."
"Why are there no fresh cut flowers at the table? I said I wanted my asparagus PARboiled, not steamed!"
Yes, it will be a sad day for all inmates when Martha goes to jail. Then again, she can always do a "From The Big House With Martha Stewart," show from the clink. See, "Big House" has a more domestique sound too it, instead of that impersonal, "jail."
"Our guest today is Killaman Smashface and he will show us how to make any weapon you want, assuming it matches the decor of your cell. And we'll show you how to make the Prison Lunch Special using shoe leather and any dead rats found last night. Mmm, tastes like chicken."
