What do you think of them? There are also a lot of crazy ones out there too... like one with the American flag, cats eyes, crazy spiral patterns, the names of your fave NFL team... etc. It's insane. Personally, I'd like to try some. Just for one. I have boring dark brown eyes so it'd be nice to play around with colours once in awhile. They have colour contacts now that work on dark eyes - so yay! I'd like to try a hazel or a lighter brown... and purple.

I love contacts, but they're a pain in the rear putting them in! I have green ones, and i have antural dark brown eyes, but i plan on getting some light brown ones soon though.
OMG! I saw these ones on the net the other day, they're so awsome! They're mirrord {Sp?} contacts. so in other words they're mirrors! In ur eyes! I want them sooo bad, they look so cool. Or the flames for the wild eyes, those are so pimped out!

I've wanted to try those out for a while, but I'm afraid of sticking something in my eye. I have dark blue eyes, and I would love to try the green ones. One of my friends has brown eyes and she wears blue contacts but it looks freaky because her coloring is dark and the blue eyes are just...BAM. Right there. OK so that made no sense, oh well...

Question-- Are color contacts expensive? Not the funky weird kinds, but just plain, non-prescription colored contacts. I've been wanting blue and green for a long time.

Regular color contacts shouldn't be that expensive. My friend got a box of turquoise contacts for a little over $30. I'm gonna get me either dark blue contacts or amathyst ones. I did want to get some really funky ones with like patterns on them, but I just don't have that much money to spend on contacts.

I wear contact lenses, only because I'm pretty much legally blind. They're better than glasses, but I think they're pointless just to change your eye color. All eyes are gorgeous-- blue, brown, green, hazel, all of them.
First of all, I only wear them because I don't like coke bottles weighing down my face, and they slow down the degression of my eyes.
The downside is that they cost money (and they can be quite expensive). They can be uncomfortable. Not all people can wear them. There's a lot of restrictions when wearing them, such as not being able to swim or sleep with them in. They have to soak for a certain number of hours. You need to buy the solution, and lots of other things, too.
I don't think they're worth the money if you just want to change your eye color. This isn't something simply cosmetic like wearing new eyeshadow, or getting your hair highlighted. Contact lenses take a lot of work. I suggest you be thankful with the eyecolor you have, and the next time you want something different, just think of the millions of people who wish they didn't have to shove a piece of Saran Wrap on their eyeball every morning.

Actually, I've worn contacts since 4th grade and I don't find it that hard. Just put them in in the morning, take them out at night. I can swim in mine, just don't open your eyes underwater or drip some pool water in your eyes before opening them underwater. They don't have to soak for a certain number of hours; I use saline solution to keep my contacts wet a night and it keeps them perfectly clean, I only have to replace the saline in the case once a week, and my contacts I wear until they break or I lose them, despite the fact that they're 2-month contacts.
