Have you ever looked into the night sky and wondered what it was all about? Do you feel small and insignificant? Pegasus, the belt of Orion, Betelgeuse, the Magellanic Clouds, the Southern Cross, Polaris, the Big Dipper; all these constellations that have fascinated us for so long. On Earth we have mountains, vast deserts, the oceans, and big storms.
Do you feel like you’re part of a huge plan, or even an important part of what is happening around you? There is a bigger part of life for all of us than what we see. I believe that we are all not just part of the universe, but an important part. I’ll go as far to say we all have a Divine plan in that universe. Do you feel like part of it all, or not? Or do you feel small and insignificant, because of the sheer size of the universe, a galaxy. You know our galaxy, counting the dark matter that helps make up its mass, is speculated to be about 100,000 light years across.
To write that out in miles would be a ridiculously large number! That’s why I think there’s more to us and our lives than the daily boredom that is inflicted upon us. Indeed, there is more to it all than school, and work. Even the work we all eventually want to do. Some of us have the ability to create beautiful works of art out of materials. Others of us can write poetry, songs, write or play music or both, of figure out complex questions and seeming mysteries. Life is a journey and all of us have a hand in it if we ignore evils, informercials, bad TV, and fashion magazines. What do y’all think?
