/\ That's a good one!
I also like Jesus Christ Is Risen Today, and Joyful We Adore Thee, to name a few. Only they have to be played loud and rowdy with a full orchestra and choir. Oh, and no weird interpretations of them either.

Selina21, this is gonna sound real rude but those hymns seem very dull. I don't like em.. Myself, that is. I was on Spring Harvest (Xian fest) last week and I learnt a new kids' one: (actions in bracks) Our God is big (arms out) Not small (small hands) He loves us (arms crossed over body) All (opened to show all) He is amazing! (long puase as everyone makes these stunned silent faces) [then repeat..] And we will praise him (arms in air, up and down and jazzhands) Imagine an electic worship band with guitarist, bassist, Hammond organ, and a sea full of teens moshing to this kids' song.. It's just really true and I like it.

Holy Holy Holy.
The two I named are from the 1700's. Beethoven wrote Joyful² We Adore Thee.
Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee
1. Joyful, joyful, we adore Thee, God of glory, Lord of love; Hearts unfold like flow'rs before Thee, Hail Thee as the sun above. Melt the clouds of sin and sadness, Drive the dark of doubt away; Giver of immortal gladness, Fill us with the light of day!
2. All Thy works surround Thee, Earth and heav'n reflect Thy rays, Stars and angels sing around Thee, Center of unbroken praise. Field and forest, vale and mountain, Flow'ry meadow, flashing sea, Chanting bird and flowing fountain Call us to rejoice in Thee.
3. Thou art giving and forgiving, Ever blessing, ever blest, Wellspring of the joy of living, Ocean depth of happy rest! Thou the Father, Christ our Brother-- All who live in love are Thine; Teach us how to love each other, Lift us to the joy divine.
4. Mortals, join the mighty chorus Which the morning stars began; Father-love is reigning o'er us, Brother-love binds man to man. Ever singing, march we onward Victors in the midst of strife; Joyful music lifts us sunward In the triumph song of life. [To the top]
The Alleleijiah Chorus from Handel's Messiah. We always stand when that is sung/played.

Does anyone know the name of this song? Or at least how the rest of it goes? I only know the chorus...
Jesus, you are my best friend And you will always be And nothing will ever change that..

I love, "Every Move I Make". I'd post the lyrics except I am totally blanking right now and I can't remember them. I also like "Eternally Yours". I can't remember the verses but this is *part* of the chorus:
Lord I thank you for loving me just as I am Though I'm weak by myself, with Your strength I will stand Eternally yours You're all I need and it's all I can do To surrender my will in submission to you Your grace is sufficient for me Eternally yous

Gabi here are the words (if we're thinking of the same song): Every move I make I make in you You make me move Jesus Every breath I take I breathe in you. Every step I take I take in you You are my way Jesus Every breath I take I breathe in you. Waves of mercy, waves of grace, Everywhere I look I see your face! Your love has captured me, Oh my God, this love how can it be? (repeat) i like that song too Gabi.
