are you the same religion as your parents? if not, do they accept and support your decision on what you practice?
i'm a Christian and so are my parents (tho, they don't really practice), and they support me.

I'm Catholic, just like my mother. My father isn't crazy about organized religion, although he believes in God and I guess other Christian beliefs. He doesn't really have an actual religion. Both my parents support my beliefs, even my father, though he doesn't really understand it all.

no, not anymore. i was raised catholic but i decided that it really just wasn't right for me. it wasn't so much catholosicm (though it did have some things that bothered me) but organized religion. i choose to remain agnostic for the time being. my parents are really cool about it and encourage me to find something that fells "right". i don't think my dad really understands my leaving the church, but he still supports me which i think is pretty cool

Yes, I am, but I don't want to be. They're forcing me to be the same religion as them until I move out, in 5 years. Ugh, it bugs me SO bad!!!

Yes, my family are practising Christians, so am I, and I go to the same church as them.
But, unlike Islam and Judaism, where in many cases you are Jewish and Muslim from birth, Christianity talks of being "born again" in Christ. Being born again in it's simple terms means changing and make a positive, new, and holy start and recognising Jesus is there to make a difference. So I am a Christian because I made that decision. I am a Christian because that is what I want to be. My parent's faith has greatly influenced me, I'm not afraid to say that, but my faith is my faith and has been my own choice.

[glow=pink,2,300]Yes and no. I still go to church and hold some of the beliefs (of Christianity). But the last 3 years I've started studying others religions and I'm starting to lean away from being just a Christian.[/glow]

No, I'm not. I was born and raised Catholic, and that's what my whole family - both sides - is. But recently I found that regular Christianity is better for me. Catholicism just didn't appeal to me, and I wasn't getting anything out of it. It took me a long time to convince my parents, but they support me (now). They don't go to church with me or anything, I get rides from friends, but they don't forbid me to be a different religion.

yes and no. i am the same religon as my mom (methodist) but i'm not the same as my dad (baptist). i really don't practice my religion that much. i don't know why, i was just never really into that...and i know that that is a really bad "excuse" but i just never really found my place in any church i went to.

Not really. My dad's Catholic and my mom is something she made up herself. I have 'my own religion' too. Both of my parents aren't very religious so I've never had any problems with it, I never had to go to church or anything. ~*Esther*~

No. My parents are Christians and raised me to be Christian. I'm an agnostic-atheists, and I know they would chop my head off if they knew my religious choice.
As far as they know, I'm Christian. They don't drag me to church, but sometimes when they really want me to go, I force myself to sit through it. I get very upset a lot, hearing these people say such bad things about atheists and agnostics in particular--knowing that if they knew my religion, they'd be talking to me.
