Wow, haven't been in here for awhile. Feels a little strange... Anyway, does anyone here have panic attacks? I've had a couple, and they're really scary. Feel free to share experiences and support in here.

i've had situations where i've felt like i had a panic attack. it's an awful feeling, getting really nervous, freaked out, and feeling like you're goignt o crawl out of your skin. i get really antsy when i'm out in public, especially if i'm somewhere i really want to leave. bleh. i've also been having this periods where i hallucinate and get all freaked out. i dunno, it's weird.
but my mom has severe panic attacks, where she feel like she can't breathe and she's gonna die. they're scary. she can't drive on the freeway because of them, she has a really hard time going out in public places, and because of all that i have to go everywhere with her in case she freaks out. it's bad.

Yes. It starts when people comment on my breathing. Anyone who says I'm breathing hard get's me all freaked out and I start hyperventilating. I just get so scared and freaked out.
I'm not sure how you would describe it, either. It just, happens. I have panic attacks somewhat like your mom, Spazmatical. Should I go to the doctor for that, do you think? I just don't know.
Like, an example when I have a panic attack is whne I'm in bed sleeping and my mom wakes me up and tells me I'm snoring and I think: "I must be breathing bad. I better not go back to sleep I might smother."
Sometimes when I'm laying in bed at night and I can hear myself breathing in the darkness and I think I'm breathing too hard and I'm afraid I'll stop breathing.
Another time I'll have panic attacks is when someone is really close to me, like, I'm walking beside someone. I have a, lets put it this way, a medical problem. And I'm afraid that person will find out.
I've had alot of panic attacks lately because I'm moving. It's just the worries, and anxietys, I guess. But, panic attacks are no fun.

if your provlem is as abad as it sounds like it is, you might want to go to the doctors for it. my mom has anxiety pills that she takes when she knows she's going to be in a situation that usually gives her a panic attack, and they help to calm her down a lot. she doesn't really like the way they make her feel in general though, so she only takes them when she really needs to. the only problem witht he pills is that they're really easy to become addicted to... because they make you feel calm and sort of floaty... so... i would i only recommend it if you feel you really have a problem.
