I can't stand the sight of my own blood or injuries. Others I don't mind.
I have that too where certain words annoy me to the point of crying. Like, "moisture" or "frozen". It's just the way the letters are arranged, I hate it.
Bugs and spiders are my #1 fear. Even butterflies. There's a couple of months where I live that everything is infested with ladybugs, and there'll be 5 ladybugs on the walls and millions of dead ones and lives ones by the windows, even in my room. I'm not normal during that time. It gets to the point where I scream and run out of the room, order my dad to kill it, and start crying because of shock. Not for attention, just because it scares me out of my mind.
I hate having hair on my arms. Hair from my head that fell out.
I keep having huge shuddering spasms just writing this.

I am literally terrified of any kind of insect or spider. I'm even afraid of the so-called "cute" ones, like butterflies and ladybugs. And the bigger the bug, the more scary it is. Yesterday, I went outside in the garage to get a soda (we have a fridge out there) and when I was about to walk back in, I saw a HUGE cricket on the stairs. I was scared to death, and yelled for my brother who was in the other room. I made him open the garage door because the opener was on the wall above the cricket, and I had to walk around the house in my pajamas and no shoes on while he opened the front door for me. And this morning, I was nervous about going out there. *shudders* I hate bugs.

I don't know if this is considered a phobia.... but I am absolutely disgusted by inner wrists. You know, the gross veiny part. It's sooooo gross.
I can't stand it when people put their fingers there to find their pulse or whatever. I hate it when anyone touches me there. I hate touching anyone else there. People find this amusing ... and they like to piss me off by poking themselves there with pens or something. Uggggh. It's so gross.
Am I weird or what? I've never come across anyone who's disgusted by the same thing... and people always look at me strangely when they find out.

Serious Fears: • Arachnophobia - Fear of spiders. I'm scared to death of these little creeps. If I spot one anywhere near me, I'll stop what I'm doing, run to the other side of the room (but keep an eye on it so I know where it goes; there's nothing worse than 'losing' a spider), and wait for someone to kill it for me. And I will not ever stand beneath one; I don't need one jumping down on me from above. I'm so pathetic that when I was nine years old, I once hid from a spider - in the corner - for over an hour while I waited for my mom to come home and kill it. I was so paranoid, I thought it was following me along the wall. I don't even like pictures of spiders. Ever heard that statistic that a person consumes an average of 50 spiders in their lifetime? They crawl in your mouth while you're sleeping because they're drawn to the heat and moisture! Ack!
• Pnigophobia - Fear of choking or being smothered. When I was six years old, I suffered from an eating disorder after having a few minor choking incidents. It wasn't anything bad at all, but it sure scared the hell out of me. So I refused to eat all solid foods, consuming only Instant Breakfast malts and liquids for about a month. Luckily, that passed, but I've been panicky ever since about my breathing. If I have bad congestion during the night, if I'm cramped up in a small space, or if I'm in any way forced to part with my precious oxygen, I'll proceed to panic.
• Ereuthrophobia - Fear of blushing. • Psellismophobia - Fear of stuttering. I get nervous very easily. One thing I'm always anxious about is the actual event of becoming anxious. I fear so much that I will begin blushing or stuttering when attention is put on me that it happens all on its own simply because I'm worried about making the right sort of impression on people. I don't want to sound like a moron, but I end up doing so doubly simply because of my fear. My entire face will turn red, I'll stumble over my words, and I'll continue to frustrate myself with my unwanted reactions to attention.
• Clithrophobia - Fear of being locked in an enclosed place. When I was little, I accidentally locked myself in a closet - under a shelf - for almost half an hour. I guess you can tell just how many paint chips I ate as a kid. But anyway, it's carried with me to this day. It's not really the enclosed places that I'm afraid of, but rather the thought of being stuck or restrained there is what I have a problem with.
Other Fears: • Agliophobia - Fear of pain. • Glossophobia - Fear of speaking in public. • Ophthalmophobia - Fear of being stared at. • Fear of sweat. • Fear of seaweed.
Just For Fun: • Ichthyophobia - Fear of fish. Is anyone else out there afraid of their toes getting bit by a fish while swimming in a lake? Something tells me I'm just a weirdo.
• Polyphobia - Fear of many things. Hmm, I don't know about you, but that's certainly my vote!

I'm especially afraid of the ocean, and even pools when they're not well lighted. I'm also scared to go in water over my head. I do it, but I'm still scared. Oh my gosh! Me too! Ahaha...I don't get it when I was younger I used to swim underwater and all that and now if you even asked me to duck my head under I won't do it..because I'm scared I'll drown and die, and it's freaky cause you can't hear anything aha and you can't see and your ears get clogged..also I can't swim lol so that contributes to that fear.
Another fear is of ghosts and paranormal stuff. Whoo, just watching that MTV show Fear, scared the hell outta me like you wouldn't believe.

My fears: - Fire- I have this thing about naked flames. Not very helpful in the chemistry lab, I can tell you. I always need somebody else to light my burner for me.
- Closed spaces- That would make me claustrophobic. I can't handle elevators or tunnels.
- Eyeballs- I have nightmares about them! My eyeballs falling out, me walking through a sea of eyeballs, me holding eyeballs, me getting skewers stuck through my eyeballs... Ugh, I'm freaking myself out now. We were studying the human eye during bio class today and I completely lost it when my teacher pulled out a model of the eyeball and began to take it apart to show us the inside.

lol! u lot is nuts! ..in a nice way nevertheless. I think we need another thread abt wot we find disgusting... - like nails on blackboards and against marble flooring and nail clippings lying around....brrr Anyways, I am not afraid of death and eyeballs (soz..no offence busy ) - I just dont like spiders and insects much. Cept to comabt the spiders i just developed this obsession with spider artwork. - Fungus and food gone bad! scares me! and funnily enough.....too much silence and being alone. Oh and i am slightly claustrophobic, but i have learnt to deal with in and not freak out.
