hmm, that is really odd. i really don't know what to tell you except that it takes time to fall into the swing of things when you move to a new school. everyone may have been welcoming at first, but now they're expecting you to fall into the swing of things on your own. maybe try befriending someone who was extra friendly to you and see what their interests are. i've found that when meeting new people, it's a lot easier to talk to the opposite sex. while you might find yourself wanting to impress them, it's not as hard as competing against your same sex. maybe that's just me, it's just easier for me to talk to guys than catty girls, lol.

you know at your old school when you got new students and everyone was so interested in them and then kinda lost interest? that might be the situation here. your newness has worn off and they just think of you as a regular student. don't be afraid to go up to someone and start a conversation. i used to think it was so hard and embarrassing, but it's not. people always have different personalities than we think. good luck!
