Mmm yes, smoothies are good too! Also, as everyone has said water. Don't forget milk. Women are more prone to osteoporosis. Hehe I felt like a doctor for a minute there.

If you want to go on a diet, you might want to consider going to a nutrionist. They can be very helpful and give you a lot of good tips on what to eat. Also, this might sound strange, but you might want to have a salad for breakfast. If you have carbohydrates, your body gets a sugar rush for about an hour or two, then it goes back down really quick. If having vegetables for breakfast sounds gross, you could also have protiens, so you could have like bacon or eggs. Also, when you eat carbohydrates and protein you want to put a couple of hours in between of when you eat them. When your body goes to digest them, it uses different enzymes for each, so its like if you have toast and an egg, your body will just digest one at a time, because the other enzymes get switched off. Anyway, what doesnt get digested can be stored as fat, and if thats something you worry about you dont want that. I hope these tips help, but if you are considering going on a diet you really should consider a nutritionist because they can help you eat better and it will be a lot easier than trying to follow a diet.

I have been trying to eat healthier..and a little less, too. I eat a bowl of oatmeal with some milk poured in (2%..my mother won't let me switch, she thinks i'm getting anorexic. NOT TRUE.) then for lunch i have a Carnation Instant Breakfast energy drink, because i recently got some new orthodontia and can't quite chew yet. After school, I'll have a NutriGrain bar or a muffin as a snack. And then I eat whatever my mom makes for dinner. Yep.. I'm pretty proud of myself, my friend offered me some ShockTarts today and I turned her down on that, and then another friend offered a Twizzler and I said no to that too it feels great, like i'm keeping the crap out of my system and putting in good stuff.
