Does anyone here work out at the gym? Which one do you go to? Do you like it? What equipment do you use and what exercises do you do? I use my local YMCA's facilities. When I go there, I do a bit of a cardio warm-up on either the cross-trainer or the treadmill, then I lift some weights. I then do some more intense cardio, usually on the treadmill, then I finish off with some stomach exercises and some stretches. Anyone else?

No, but I am planning on starting in a couple months. Right now I don't have time because it's field hockey season, and I get enough exercise as it is, with that. But when season is over, @ the end of November, I plan on joining a gym to keep in shape, and just cuz I really enjoy working out. Over the summer I used my high school's weight room as part of summer conditioning for field hockey, and I really liked that...I also think treadmills are the niftiest gadgets ever, so I'm looking forward to joining a gym. Do you have any suggestions you'd like to share, like what machines to use for what and other random stuff like that? Thanks!

Yeah, I go to the local YMCA too. I start off with stretches then do some Cardio and then a few weights and then end with a quick jog on the treadmill for 5mins just to warm down.

At the gym near me you have to be 16 or older. But, I don't know if they're and they're aint no YMCA's here.

They just opened up a YMCA very close to me, and I'm definitely planning on joining. I'm really looking forward to running on the treadmills, because I love to run and I just think treadmills are the niftiest gadgets ever. I'm also looking forward to doing a lot of weight lifting...weight lifting is funnn.

I used to go to the gym but I over-worked myself, resulting in loss of motivation. But at least I felt good about myself.

I just started working out at the Y about a month ago...I go 2-3 times a week and I love it!! Im lucky cus it is right by my school. I have lost 3lbs (Im not obsessed with weight or anything it was just exciting harhar) and have gotten significantly stronger. I can't wait till Im nice and toned haha. Normally I go on the tredmill or do laps for like 15min then stretch and then do 25min on the eliptical trainer, 20min on thebikes, a circuit, weights for arms and legs then abs and stretching at the end. :oinsane

My friend and I are planning to go workout at the Holiday Inn! Whooo..cute guys in there too...but I'm strictly there for the excercise lolol

I go to one of the local gyms from time to time, mostly for one of the classes like advanced spinning, aerobics or tae bo. If i go to workout on the machines, I pretty much stick to the treadmill and then do some stomach crunches..
