I chose Letterman because he is much more funnier, but sometimes he can be mean.

I like Letterman. He's just nicer, more respectful, and I think a better guy all-around. Leno tends to make jokes on controversial topics, such as murders and other current events, that can be really disrespectful and offensive. Once, a guest on Letterman asked him why he wasn't talking about the O.J. Simpson trial (that's what was going on at the time; Leno went nuts with it), Letterman said "I don't find the murder of two innocent people to be a laughing matter."

I picked Letterman, but Leno is a close second. Both were very respectful after the Sept 11 attacks. They were very cautious not to slam the President, or the government. In fact, Leno really didn't know what his role was for awhile.

I'd pick Letterman, I like his show and he's funny, and I really don't like Leno that much anyway
