Anyone know some good FREE sites to download music? I tried Kaaza but it takes wayyy too long to download and it keeps messing up anyways and I have to download the song all over again. Plus, I've also heard some other bad stuff about it so that's off the list. Any suggestions?

Mp3's KaZaA (You'll have to download the 'software first... But it's free.. You'll also have to do it a certain way because sometimes it doesn't work.. But if it doesn't the first time installed, uninstall it and install it again ;D) That's all I can come up with right now, lol. ;D

www.kazaalite.comA free, easy download. It's Kazaa, but someone tweaked with it a bit so you have maximum privacy-- No SpyWare. Also, there's no annoying pop-up ads when you're using it.

Kazaa has a LOT of virusus, because it's person to person. If you're going to use it, I highly recommend downloading a virus detector.
I use WinMX. I've been using it for a year, and havne't had any problems with it. It's great.

^^^ www.winmx.comI use it and really prefer it over everything else I've tried (Kazaa slows my computer down more than I ever thought possible), even though it's kinda sucked since the last upgrade.

I have now deemed Kazaa god of all things, because my pal Mike said he downloaded Photoshop 7.0 off it. For free. This version of Photoshop costs 600 bucks. And he got it for free on Kazaa.
Kazaa can bite me for music, but I suppose it can still be dubbed god for this one. Six hundred dollars....

I use LimeWire. It works really well, but there aren't that many songs and things out because only people with Macs use it. I don't know that much about it. All that I do is download music.

I use Kazaa, but it's put a few programs on my computer that just make pop-up ads, so I think I'm switching to Kazaalite. I've tried a great program, SoulSeek (http://www.soulseek.com) that's nice and simple and has tons of music on it.
