Right now I'm playing for my league team and my school team. It's kinda hard juggling both schedules, but I manage...
My league team is going to provincials in a couple of weeks. If you don't know what that is..it's basically the top leagues in the province play against each other. It's usually against Calgary/Edmonton teams though because non of the out of town teams are great. Except for ours..hehehe.
Oooh, and I'm VERY excited because not only do they play the Premier Leage (english) every Saturday, they're going to start the Bundesliga (german) which means *ahem* that I get to see David Beckham AND Owen Hargreaves in the same weekends .EEEP. This is exciting....

^^^ Wow...you have alot more experience then me... but thats cool I would love to play for another league besides my school...maybe in highschool I'll get more oppertunities. *sniff* Right now I'm out for awhile....I have this lump sticking out of the back of my foot....so I dunno. I had x-rays on Friday and I go back sometime this week. The good news is its not a bone-spur but they arent sure if its just tendinitous (sp?) or if I tore my acelies (sp?) tendent. So anywhoo ya kinda off topic but o well. Isnt there anyone else who plays soccer?!

Ouch... But hey stupid things happen to good ppl... I looooove footy but I'm not very good at it. I do play but not for a team. But hey its the beautiful game here (England). My home teams Watford..in the division below the Premier League but I support Newcastle United, which is miles away from home. But its the bestest team in the world.......oh cept for England!

Hey who's the American player who plays for one of our sides here (England)?
He's supposed to be pretty good. They had a pretty decent world cup last year. A lot of teams got to where no one thought they'd go

I play football <~ the real name of the game...
I was so pissed off when in March I was in the states for a showcase and I went into Tops, and there was shirts for like everything saying the American Tradition. So they had a shirt saying soccer: the american tradition. Really it is Football: the european tradition....anyways to the point of the thread. I play soccer, I play on a provincial team and I just got back from a tour in Europe a few weeks ago, so I'm pretty serious.

Yeah, really how big is footy in the US?
I mean professionally people dont seem to recognise it, yet in kids movies and that, they are always going 'soccer practice'...
