CurlyQ_Gal, I've never heard of the 400 hurdles. We only have the 100 and the 300 hurdles. The 100 has ten high hurdles, and the 300 has 8 intermediate hurdles.

Hmm thats odd cuz Ive never heard of the 300 Hurdles. We have the 100 hurdles and the 400 hurdles. Thats it. No more hurdles. Where are you from? (Im from South Carolina) Maybe it depends on where you live? Let me know.

I love to run. Love it, love it, love it. I didn't get interested in it until my field hockey season of eighth grade, when I discovered that not only did I really like running, but I was pretty darn fast. I'm not on track or cross country or anything, because field hockey is the same season as cross country, and although I really considered going into track and doing distances, I decided to stay with field hockey and my coach and increase my chances of making varsity as a sophomore. Anyways, I still run every day, whether it's in field hockey or on my own. I love how it clears my mind when I'm upset, and I love breaking my own records.
I've got problems with my knees, though, from running too much with the wrong kind of shoes. The physical therapist I used to see told me I shouldn't run more than 3 times a week because of my knees but psht...I'll live. I also recently developed shin splints, but hopefully that'll get better with the New Balances I just bought.
What kind of shoes do you guys wear for running?

I had running practice for track today...it was fun... but I'm dead...I'm really dissapointed in myself too...so thats not fun....
I used to run the 1600 (mile) in 6:11...but now I cant get under 8...(b/c of surgery and certain things w/ my knee) But...anywhoo this year I'm running the 100, the 200, and hopefully...the mile, if I can cut my time down.. and my leg doesnt give out. But ya...I lurrrrrveeee running...its just...I have complications...but ya, enough of me rambling...
