Black Hawk Down. Most definitly Black Hawk Down. It made me realize what some people go through to fight for something that they believe in so strongly that they would die for it. I thought it was an incredible movie and it really made me think about life, war, etc. I mean, these people go off into an extremely hostile place not having any idea what could happen. ...but they still go. I can't believe that it really happened, that people actually lived it! I can't even imagine what it would be like...I hope that we think twice before sending people out on missions like that now. Also, it didn't hurt that my two favorite actors were in it! Josh and Ewan Also, Moulin Rouge. I know, I know, it's about prostitutes and all...but it's just such a beautiful movie! Truth, Beauty, Freedom, Love...what's more important than that? [glow=magenta,2,300] ¤*¤EMILY¤*¤[/glow]

Hmm... I'm trying to think of movies I've seen that have affected my life. I can't think of any. I rarely like movies, and when I do, it's just for good comedy or something like that. I seem to find more meaning in music. ~Lisa ToughPrincess~ People write that when they're not sure if they spelled a word right. For example, if I didn't know how to spell cat, I would put Kat (sp?)

The movie American Beauty has really impacted my outlook towards life, and the people around me. The message to "look closer" at the beauty in the world was so inspiring, and it makes me more grateful for the little things around me, at how beautiful precious moments may be, as well as the simplest things in life that I probably wouldn't of noticed pre-american beauty.
It also in a way reassures me that nobody, nor anybody's life/family is perfect in life that no matter how they seem on the outside, it may not be like that on the inside.
Another thing is the movie made me feel special about myself. The two main girls in it is a spitten image of me and my best friend growing up Kristin. She was the "perfect american beauty" type with the C cup at age of 12, and loved to throw it in my face, and be the center of attention, while I was the pale skinned darker headed insecure quiet girl that walked around with her listening to her talk about herself. I use to be so insecure, and even today things she said to me years ago still effects my self esteem now, but watching it helped made me realize how boring someone like that is, and that uniqueness has it's own beauty to it. ^_^

Serendipity- it changed the way i looked at luv and it makes me all smoochy and began to have a strong faith toward love. Before i watched this movie.. i was flirting wit everysingle guy i thought was hot.. but then i saw this movie, and it was as if sumone spoke to my soul and told me about true love and faith. So now my friends think im a bit "deep" about luv.

What's Up With Gilbert Grape?
A pretty good movie abot a teen with a obese mom. The mom dies in the end in her sleep and then the teen pours gasoline all over the house and burns it to the ground. Why? Becuase he doesn't people coming to the funeral and making fun of her. Once again, it's a pretty good movie.

Clueless... It affected sooooo many people, even if you didn't like it. For instance, how many REALLY said whatever after people said something before it came out ?
