I don't cry when I watch movies. Hmm, maybe I don't get into them enough? I'm probably just not emotional enough. Oh well. I do remember Simon Birch though. That was so sad. I have no clue what it was about I just remember it being so sad. I almost cried at that, and The Little Princess. I felt horrible during that, I wanted to scream at the father "THAT"S YOUR LITTLE GIRL! GO TO HER!" Actually, now that I think of it, I probably did scream that. Whatever.

I dont cry at movies in theaters. Ever. I dont feel comfortable. But i did cry after Au Revoir Les Enfants. Its a french subtitled movie. Its about two boys who become friends but (to not give away the ending) one has a secret.

I cried when I first saw Girl Interrupted. It's just so...real. It's not something that's all about happy endings and life being perfect...it's real life and it's honest. I also cried during Pearl Harbor, The Majestic, and when we watched Glory in my American history class.

If anyone dies in any movie (unless it's the bad guy, of course), good ol' Joy will be sobbing her eyes out. I saw Moulin Rouge for the first time a few days, and I cried for about 20 minutes after. My mom came in and saw me and when she back into her room, I heard her tell my stepfather, "Aw, poor Joy is crying her little eyes out..." On top of that, I also bawled through Cruel Intentions, Here on Earth, A Walk to Remember (LeeLee is stupid...honestly, who rejects my Joshie?), and yes, Star Wars: AOTC. (I admit it! Get off my back about it already, okay?!) And let's not forget: Meet The Parents Shakespeare in Love Ghost and Steel Magnolia Love, ~Mike the Crybaby PS. Does anyone remember that movie (it's an old one) about a girl whose father leaves her in the care of their superintendent (or something) when he goes to work as a woodcutter. But the super abuses her, so she goes off to find her father...but she thinks he's dead...etc., etc. Anyone? Gosh, I loved that movie. And I think I cried at it, too. Not surprising, though.

LOL, I'm cry pretty easily ... but there are two movies a bunch of you mentioned which I didn't find sad AT ALL. First of all, A Walk To Remember. Yeah there were sad parts ... but it wasn't enough to get me bawling. I cried reading the book, not watching the movie. I didn't like the movie all that much. I also watched that movie in French class (Une Promenade Inoubliable), and I guess wasn't in the mood for a tearjerker since my friends and I started cracking up some parts. I felt bad though because the other half of the class was crying... and there we were laughing REALLY hard. And Here On Earth did not make me cry at all. I was so upset because Leelee Sobienksi(sp?) dumped Josh! Like, what is that? And I hate Chris Klein, and I hated his character... so I was mad about that. Leelee had no good reason to dump Josh so my friends and I were so upset about that. Geez. Anyway... I'll get back to the subject of this thread. I agree with people about Disney movies. I ALWAYS cry or get that choked up feeling in my throat. I can't name a Disney movie where I haven't. But kids movies in general make me cry... I almost cried watching Ice Age, Shrek and Monsters Inc. Stepmom was also really sad, in my opinion. I also cried watching Pearl Harbour (like, the last 15 minutes of it is SO SAD) and Titanic. It's usually the background music which starts the teariness... because the music can effect me so much.

^It's the background music that gets me too.
I don't cry at movies that often, I did cry a little at Titanic and Romeo and Juliet. And I teared up at 2 parts of A Walk to Remember, when Landon goes to his dad's and cries and at the end.
