They really should have given us a set date. We thought it was the 15th... But it wasn't. Out of nowhere that topic comes up: "Razzberry is now Read-only". Out of nowhere! We should have had some notice... At least a day or so.

Okay, let's see..
I first came to Razz before it was even opened. The old Razz, I mean. I came when it was read-only, and then I came back the first day [or week, I forget] that the new Razz opened.
Then, 4 months later, I became a VIP, and spent the next 5 months doing that, while still razzing. It was a lot of fun, and I was grateful for the experience.
I remember all the debates I took part in, the PMs, the friends I made and people I got to know.
And then, towards the end, I remember the socks. I'm not going to give my opinion on them, as I left that behind with Razz, but that's one memory that's not going anywhere.
So yeah, those are a few of the memories I have, along with many, many more.

*sniff* I loved that place. haha, my favorite memories--well, as dorky as this sounds, they were... -going into the Bug Juice thread immediately after that horribly dorky (but extremely addicting) show was over and leaving long commentaries on it, and replying to others. There were only a few strong fans, but we had some funny conversations. -The time I yelled and told off the VIPs on a sock name (long before all those other socks) because I disliked one of them (we're cool now, though) and got a warning on that name from APITF, but she didn't warn my other name because I deleted the post and appologized (even though many people had already seen it and saved it to reply) and she liked me and knew it was just an angry one-time thing. -The time ArtsyAnarchist came to the boards and made everyone mad...that's how we became friends (although, it took awhile -Just a few days before Razz closed, the mod (I don't remember who it was, since at that time, they kept changing) made me a VIP. They knew I would be of no use as a VIP, seeing as the boards were about to shut down anyway, but the VIPs, on the private board, had asked her if she would please make me one just for the last few days, so I could have that title, since I had been loyal since the beginning of the new Razz and quite a bit at the old Razz. I thought that was really sweet and was so happy that they thought to do that ;D Bad memories: -When they said it was going to stay read-only, and then suddenly, Razz was no more. No archives, no nothing. -When Maureen was fired. I was angry at the pathetic excuse they gave, because there was a lot more to it than that, and it was not fair. -Fighting the whole battle over the socks...although, that was quite fun at times, it got really stressful and we really knew how to hit each other's tough spots. Even after Razz closed, the whole thing continued at the live journal. I know that's stupid, because it was just a message board, but man, did we ever upset each other I liked the old Razzberry, and I had been addicted for awhile, but I gave myself a really long break from it. After getting bored one day, I remembered that place, and voila! I was redirected to the new Razzberry, which was still really new. It was a fun place. I like it here, too, but I still miss those colors and checking who had me on their Watched Users List and stuff like that

Weeeee, I was a sock! Haha. I really miss PM-ing a lot of people there ... I actually developed a lot of friendships that way, which is kind of crazy because typically I'm not really up for online friendships. But it was different at Razz, and I totally miss that. I have kept talking to people (especially through LiveJournal) but there are many people who stopped using it and therefore haven't contacted in ages. It's sad ... even though they were only online people.
