What DO you want to be when you grow up?

Hmm...what do I want to be?  Well...here are a few ideas, ordered from the best to the least...;D

~Jr. High Health teacher.
~..or a teacher in a Pre-K, or Kindergarden.  Or in some sort of Daycare.
~Physical Fitness Instructer.

^^^Those are probably the ones I'd like most.

~Photographer.
~Model.
~Singer.
~An Artist.
~Dancer.
~Fashion Designer.

i want to be a psychologist. for as long as i can remember, people have been telling me that i'm a really easy person to just sit and talk to and that i give good advice. i've faced a lot of problems in my life and so have those around me... so i have a pretty good background of situations people have been through from anorexia to being suicidal to being raped. i've experienced or known someone who has experienced it all.

I hate this question... but it's so much fun to think about.  ;D I'm a senior in high school, and going to college in the fall, so I should be more sure... but I'm not. These are what I was thinking about:

* Radiation therapist
* Veterinarian (maybe specializing in cats)
* Major in political science and international studies and see if I can do something with the U.S. government/international relations or something...

I decided this year (at least for now) that I really want to be a psychiatrist.  If I don't get accepted into medical school, I'll take being a psychologist too.  Either one works.

Realistically...
-doctor, specializing in nutrition
-lawyer
Both of these things are attainable for me because I have high academic achievement and motivation.  Most likely I will go into medicine, although not necessarily nutrition.


Interesting but probably will not end up doing...
-dietician
-fitness instructor
-politician (I can see that happening but only after having a background in something else, I may run for office)
-magazine journalist (I would love to do this but the main reason why I won't is that I don't like english class.  I love writing but I can't stand analyzing sentences and picking apart the themes in novels.  I prefer non-fiction).
-web designer (as much as I love it I wouldn't do it full time)

I've been pondering this question as well, and have come down to a few choices.

• Computers: I would love to work in any field involving computers.  Not only are there sure to be many opportunities in the future job outlook, but they are something I enjoy working with.  There are so many fields in which computers will be needed, and most all of them interest me to some extent.

• Writing: For as long as I can remember, I have loved both writing stories and reading those created by others.  I have always loved how much could be told just through words.  This past year I have been involved in a creative writing class which has led me to appreciate the world of literature more than every before.  I have written many short stories, poems, and prose recently as well as in the past, and I adore what can be done with only the basis of text.  However, there have been times that I have become burnt out from writing.  Writer's Block would be a certainty, which is why I would be very cautious as to enter in a career writing involving.  I would much rather keep this as a simple hobby or as a side-occupation.  However, I still keep it in mind for the future.

I'd love to work in an occupation involving current events and journalism, a job through which I can share my opinion. Maybe a journalist, reporter, or a newspaper editor.

I still have a couple years to decide. Naturally, I would prefer a job that brings in some good money, but it isn't essential.
