I have a question. What's Study Hall? Study Hall is a period where all you do is homework (or in some people's cases, should be doing homework). Personally, I thought that study halls were a complete waste. At my old school, you didn't get any credit for them so you might as well take a release so you could get out of school...

Next semester I am taking:
American Government (3 credits) Fitness For Life (1.5 credits) American History II (3 credits) Spanish II (6 credits) Minorities in the Media (3 credits) Journalism (2 credits)
That's a total of 18.5 credits. It's a lot, but I think I'll be able to handle it. And btw, Spanish II at my college is the equivilent to Spanish IV-V in high school.

So far, this is up in the air, because I haven't even registered at my college yet (I'm going on Saturday the 13th). But here's what I think and hoping I'll be taking. Faith and Reason Mentored Inquiry (those two combined are 5 credits) 1st Year Russian - 4 credits Intro. to Politics - 4 credits Science and Pseudoscience - 4 credits And if I can't take Intro. to Politics, I'm going to take International Politics (4 credits), and if I can't take Sci. and Pseu., I'm going to take Intro. to Sociology (4 credits). I have two different schedules worked out so I'm sure to get one of them... Total of 17 credits. Eek. Parental units said I should drop one of my classes, and I will if I can't handle the workload. First year of college and all. ****Edited to add: Went to orientation today, decided not to stress myself out too much, and am taking 13 credits: Math 111 - 4 credits Intro to Politics - 4 credits Faith and Reason Mentored Inquiry - 5 creits for those two classes And as a bonus, I only go in on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Woohoo!

1. Life Skills (elective). 2. Phys. ED (1st semester), Health I (2nd semester). 3. Study Hall (elective). 4. Spanish I (elective). 5. Lunch. 6. English 9. 7. Physical Science II. 8. Algebra I. The only thing I hate is having Study Hall 3rd hour. I mean, all of my homework comes AFTER I have the stinking Study Hall. I don't get homework in Life Skills and GYM for crying out loud! Oh well...I guess it's good for studying for tests and putting the finishing touches on the homework due that day. Or I could just sleep.... .Brite.

My schedule has changed a little bit. I'm no longer taking "Fitness for Life", so I only have 17 credits. The reason I'm not taking that class is because they rescheduled my Journalism class, and part of the classes were at the same time.
